Billy obviously has trouble with his weight. He is really a LMW yet struggles to come in under 168. If he moved up, how would a fight between these two play out?
Saunders beats Smith by clear UD if he has a good camp and is motivated. Saunders is far too slick for Smith and I'd be shocked of Smith was able to land well enough to get Saunders out of there.
Saunders is very slick on his day but with Smith’s size, reach and jab output he’d have to work very hard for 12 rounds. Smith is a 175 for me and should be aiming for Kovalev.
Saunders for me. I rate Smith but Saunders is the type who fights to his level and I feel we'd see the best of Saunders in these types of fights.
It’s a tough one to call but I would edge towards BJS. I think his superior movement and elusiveness would allow him to be the winner here. I don’t think he lands a lot on Callum Smith himself, but he doesn’t need to if Callum is landing nothing on him.
Smith is no slouch, he would 1-2 Bill for days. I'd say Billy would be the one struggling to lay a glove. Smith probably wins by ko
BJS has never been knocked down, he’s never really looked in trouble in a fight nor demonstrated a suspect chin to be fair. He’s not unbeatable but not sure why people would think he’d get knocked out either?
The size difference would be huge and Saunders would need to adjust his style to get to Smith and with those factors he would likely get stopped late in my humble opinion. BJS is a terrific boxer but the size would be key.
Saunders might struggle with his weight but for me he shouldn't. He's not a big man at 160 and for me would be going up based on ill discipline rather than any obvious reason to make the move.
Akavov, Eubank and Lee all very much laid a glove on him. Why would the bigger, better, longer reach Smith not?
Smith by KO. Saunders is a quality boxer but Smith is a good, hits hard and will about weigh him by 20lbs
