I agree. Davis is the more muscular guy, no doubt. Loma is more skilled, which is why this would be an interesting fight.

It’s right out of the Floyd playbook. Drag up little guys, duck challenges, make them wear pillows, wait till they get old, drain the hell out of them, cheat them on the scales, and cycle, cycle, cycle.

Oh yeah. I almost forgot: Keep yourself in the news by talking about opponents you have no intention of ever fighting.

Um. Why do you think? It's certainly a trend for titlists and/or fighters with some promotional/economical push.

Cuz his manager is a disgrace. The turds not even putting him with a boxer in his next fight when the fans are screaming for a proper test.

Not that it matters, tank beat a guy then got given somebody else's world title a while ago and nobody has been able to explain that away either. Not to mention he has yet to defend it against anybody who fights at that weight. Just nonsense.

It's about time people gave up waiting on tank Davis, at least until he ditches Floyd cuz he is ruining him. Unless of course tank is happy to be making money and getting hate.

No way Loma has the pathetic reach listed. He would look like a t rex and he doesn't.

Loma is also more solid than Tank

Gervonta Davis is a fraud. He's going down the same route as Adrien Broner. Both declared themselves the next Mayweather, the next face of boxing, the next great pound for pound fighter etc...

Problem is you don't make that decision. Those labels come from actions, not words. That's why Gervonta will get his ass flattened the first time he steps up, just like Adrien Broner got flattened, and the next "true great fighter" will be someone who let his actions speak in the ring, not from his mouth.

Well if you mean by stepping up? Fighting a guy like Shane Mosley with all his steroids or a 1978 Robert Duran? Then yes he would probably get flattened like a bug.

But since nobody from 130-135 is a anything like that it's not going to happen.

And by the way I would consider Pedraza to be a step up. Hes a very good fighter.

Rigo was an inactive old man midget who was tailor made for Loma stylistically

Mares is hardly a giant.. 5'4", one fight a year Abner Mares who's only fought 3 times in 3 years.. The last one of which was a loss... Umhh, ye OK... Inactive Rigo doe..

LOL That win is what it is, a jump up in weight fight that intrigued people because of the amateurs angle. Poundage played little part in it tho, as it wasn't a physical match up, but a skills one .. The size difference didn't make Rigo quit it was Lomas skill & IQ that made him! He fought an awful tactical fight...

Lol but as for Mares, he needed two fights & dozen's of low blows to convincingly beat bantamweight Agbeko who Rigo pitched a shutout against! If size was such a huge factor with these guys then he should be beating the **** out of these guys then right? Perez pushed him all the way too, let alone Gonzalez flattening him in a round! Mares ain't all that, plus he's a dirty ****er too..

Rigo would beat the **** out of Mares at super bantamweight or bantamweight old or not.. Mares had fits with the movement & precision punching of 'Old midget flyweight Darchinyan' didn't he! A lot of ppl think Vic won...

Say wot u want about Rigo but he had one of the best wins of the past 10 years in Donaire!

Mares was another Floyd cherry special & you know it ... Coming off a loss & carrying injury, whereas Rigondeaux CALLED Loma out! Now sit down boyyo... Davis is good but the fact is he just beat a two week notice career bantamweight & a career featherweight before that one too! & he's BIG at 130... Hence why he struggles to make weight! Who's he gunna fight next? Ten shits in Japan?

Fact is that Floyd let everybody know in advance that his fight with Conner and his fight in Japan were nothing more than entertainment.
I guess people just wanted to be entertained.

yes, and the rubes made up a million scenarios of how it was gonna go, and when it went exactly like the non rubes said it would go, they complained. hence my post.
so rubes, if youre reading this, tank is going stunt this japanese kids growth with the beating hes gonna dish out. so if you want to pay for the fight, you now know what youre paying for.
now, how many people do you think are going to prove what i said mayweather thinks? and how much incentive is that gonna give floyd to stop feeding them crap?
