The WBC has ordered a fight between Britain's Dillian Whyte and Dominic Breazeale to determine the mandatory challenger for Deontay Wilder's heavyweight title belt. American Wilder is expected to face Tyson Fury in a rematch of December's controversial draw in Los Angeles. Whyte had also been linked with a fight against four-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Soure BBC sport
whyte should win but I pulling for breazeale just because the whyte hypetrain/fan boys on here geting more annoying then usual
I don't see an option for the following: "Whyte ducks Breazeale in order fight Hughie Fury. After he barely wins, his fans whine that he deserves a shot at the Fury/Wilder winner."
I don’t see it that way, decent fight imo and one that Whyte needed to get to Wilder.......again. Breazeale could spring a shock even?I try not to judge folk against Joshua since most are overawed with the big partisan crowds and the occasion, you can visibly see em go in there and forget to punch lol. After Whytes two combined fights against Chisora where he did 23 even rounds I’m not as sold on Whyte as what I were, this fight against a tough, big, guy like Breazeale should tell us more about him imo.
'There's'....(sorry ) ....anyway i saw neither the thread or announcement--though I did catch 'WBC ORDERS'.....on something... before I could read on or maybe lost it. Well at least they're appearing to do SOMETHING. I don't recall the WBC making Oscar and Floyd fight mandatories ...so maybe a good sign as they've put themselves under pressure to enforce the fight without the superstar resistance they bend too and are in thrawl of way too often. Never bought into the 'most prestigious' crap..but still nice to see the gesture, which will hopefully be acted upon.
I think it will be be a Can't Miss fight don't get me wrong. It will look like Shrek vs Frankenstein. I agree Dom could very well rise to the occasion. Dom can take a mean beating & keep truckin'. Maybe Whyte will beat Big Bearzill to the punch should be interesting
If Whyte loses I won't cry, normal day at the office for me. and... there are other fanboys besides me??? Where bro.. I am the only one
Nor will Whyte his attitude to boxing is refreshing,he knows the Floyd effect of keeping that zero is BS and always was.
He almost lost vs Mansour Size & heart won him that fight imo Haven't seen another. Mansour should be a cruiserweight tho. Glad some more slugger fights at heavy are being made.
Oh yeah it was. Izu was probably outweighed 30 pounds though. I think Big B should have a harder time taking punches from naturally bigger heavyweights. Even DB's last fight was against more of a natural cruiserweight. It's all relative though DB would probably do pretty well against Whyte's resume besides Parker
