Matchroom England needs a good makeover as the stale production month after month well past sell by date
I doubt Matchroom put much work into these cards, same as Italy. Matchroom get their names on some posters, maybe chuck a fighter or 2 on the card. The home promoter does the work, suspect Sergio Martinez in this case, gets the DAZN platform and some extra cash.
There is a boxing scene but it's not really mainstream. I've spoken to a few old fellas who remember back to the days of Jose Legra, Miguel Velasquez and Perico Fernandez.
"Matchroom England" just about sums it up for me. Trying not to sound like a stereotypical, hard done by Scot, he should be looking north of the border before shows in Spain.
Hilarious that the "billion dollar deal" has been snatched from the hands of Eddie & been given to Golden Boy (minus AJ's purses), with Eddie being booted to Spain and Italy with the sole purpose of trying to put a bit more meat on the bones for current DAZN Italia & Future DAZN Spain subscribers. Not even a serious role. Simply just to give the football crazed subscribers over there the illusion that they are paying for a huge multi sport streaming service.
Watched one of Eh Day's USA shows and the crowd was similar to one of Franky's Brentwood Leisure centre shows.
The one where Eh Day pretended it was packed for the undercard but "everyone left" for the main fights?
UK, US, Spain, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Japan...Think he's biting off more than he can chew far too quickly
