Usyk will beat Povetkin. Just like he would beat Whyte, Chisora, Parker and Miller.

No way it’s easy, imo lol

At least the first 5 or 6 rounds. Them heavys can take more pounding then the cruisers.

Yeah funny how this works right? Povetkin could potentially be Usyk's worst matchup.

    Let's analyse two opponents:

    USYK:
    Pros:

    • Young
    • Skilled
    • Faster
    • Reach advantage
    • Can keep the opponent at a distance
    Cons:
    • Weak chin
    • Inexperience in HW division
    • Lack of KO power
    • Prone to be KTFO in a brawling
    • Weak skill in inside boxing
    POVETKIN:
    Pros:

    • Experienced
    • Granit chin
    • Skilled
    • Has KO power
    • Likes brawling
    • Very dangerous if he can get inside
    Cons:
    • Old
    • Slower compared to Usyk
    • Reach disadvantage
    • Get hits a lot because he doesn't care

If I were Usyk, I would avoid Povetkin, because he will retire anyway in a few years. Bellew was a good start for him.

Hell, if I were Usyk, I would stay in cruiserweight. Usyk has no chance against heavyweight giants AJ, Fury and Wilder.

How does povetkin has a granite chin? Wlad dropped him any time he wanted, even with jabs, and AJ finished him with the first flush shot he landed.

Usyk, young? He’s 32. Weak chinned? On the contrary, he’s never been floored once in his pro career so where on earth you’ve concluded that god only knows?!? Prone to be KTFO in a brawl? I’ve seen every single one of his fights and when the going gets tough he most certainly ups his game - and ultimately overcomes them too, be that by KO or points.

Some very strange claims there indeed, but each to their own.

I'll be surprised if this happens. Not the smartest to fight Povetkin in his first fight at HW. True, he is not getting any younger but that is quite a reach. Usyk is the better mover and they both are fundamentally strong but you have to give the edge in power to Pov. Interesting fight if it happens.
