What are some of your favorite fighters best nights? For example a lot of people say Ali’s peak fight was against Cleveland Williams, and Tyson peaked at Spinks.

Be interested to read some of your favorite fighters best standout moments to you.

    Naseem v Kelly
    Eubank v Benn
    Hagler v Hearns
    Bowe v Holyfield
Other great fights I can mention but they didn't involve two primo guys, wanted to include Floyd but couldn't think of any.

I thought you meant fights Inc two guys in their peak?
It's actually quite interesting to think about when someone is in their prime, not the same for everyone, some start off poor and peak later on and versa.
gets harder to nail two opposing guys in their peak,Floyd v Canelo is one of my favourite fights but Floyd was at the end of his career albeit still amazing and Canelo was green.

Ali's wasn't Williams it was Foreman. He wouldn't be able to do that against Foreman at anytime bc difference in power and Williams was not medically fit either to give Ali some crazy magician performance in a fight that wouldn't be sanctioned today probably .

The thing is most best nights are when fighters are most motivated or more worried.

Both Ali and Morrison have Foreman with that.

One of mine is Klitschko against Joshua even though he lost he had to be on point vs 6'6 power puncher and coming off a loss like never before despite what people think.

Then you have guys that would be just to dominant at any time like M.Tyson vs over matched Holmes , a lot better fight them Spinks who was going to fold fast.

Very rarily do you get a peak guy operating at his best when the other guy is too. It's good to know how to match guys up by formulating a blue print of what actually will happen because you don't get two fighters at their peaks and when you do it's a rarity.

If I took when fighters looked at their most unbeatable it would be .....I

Holyfield vs Foreman ( huge speed advantage ) Foreman could not deal with the timing and was a step behind.

Mike Tyson vs Marvis Frazier ( No significant size / height advantage though for opponent ) Tyson crushed him.

Klitschko vs Mercer ( Age Gap ) Klitschko blitzed him with rockets.

These 3 fights stand out to me where the opponent was severely out matched due to having a major flaw or circumstances against them where I can still take that fighter and he would be very difficult to defeat against harder opponents .

Though Klitschko and Tyson are in my top 5 head to head , Holyfield is not as speed can be nullified by some guys.

2 more worth noting are Vitali vs Johnson and Marciano vs Louis .

    Lucas Matthysse - Lamont Peterson

Lucas was a monster that night.

    Akira Yaegashi - Javier Mendoza

A seemingly washed up Yaegashi went up against the bigger and fresher Mendoza. Most expected Mendoza to be too much for Yaegashi. Akira pretty much wrecked Mendoza, who was completely out matched that night.

Vitali Klitschko vs Kirk Johnson, Corrie Sanders, Danny Williams. Vitali was a BEAST in his prime. Man that Danny Williams fight was a BRUTAL beatdown. It's such a shame that he lost 4 years of his prime after that fight cause of injury.

    Fernando Vargas vs Tito Trinidad
The way Feroz boxed in the center of the ring is a beauty to watch, just absolutely artful. After the initial knockdowns. Pity Tito is such a low-blower...
