would be is nothing until it happens. But I would alos argue in your favour, that 3 belts is enough to be near enough undisputed. The counterargument is that hes had some bizarrely easy passages to two of them, facing a 42 year old and a guy who dived in round 1. The truth is somewhere in between, hes done it faster than lennox but had it easier too.
Whyte and Wilder have real one punch knockout power. If they land on AJ, AJ will get knocked out. So go on....tell me that they won't land on AJ.
I believe he is like Joshua, he wears opponents down with an accumalation of punches, he is a concussive puncher. Whyte and Wilder.... one punch... and it's lights out. Parker and Fury survived of course, but AJ's chin ain't as strong as theirs.
Whyte did land on him and AJ was seriously hurt, but survived. That's why so many people want to see Whyte AJ 2.
He was actually injured prior to that in the shoulder, and he made it worse in the fight it self. But we see now that he is back to full power.
Yes they have the power to knock AJ out. Dillian whyte already tried and failed but I admit since then he has sorted a lot of his flaws out and has been impressive. Deontay has the power to knock anyone out but he always relies on the power and has he ever been matched for power? Not only matched for power almost but at the same time against someone who is a smarter boxer? Yes fury is the HW with the highest ring IQ, by a lot I’d say but is also feather fisted. So I think even though a few have certain skills to be able to stop him, I just can’t see it happening as his attributes/skills cancel most of them out. IMO!!!
That's a great a reply, I wish more posters would reply like this and there would be no issues. Thank you.
Povetkin was destroyed by the right hand by AJ that put him down, it wasn`t a one punch KO but the fight was more or less over when AJ landedd it and the uppercut he shook Wlad with would have KO`d most heavies, AJ is really heavy handed.
I am not sure what the question is here. Has AJ achieved more at this stage of his career than Lewis had for the same number of fights? Yes without a doubt In terms of assessing who ranks higher or who is higher on the ATG list. We need to wait until AJs career is completed and we have atleast 5 years for the dust to settle on it. Lennox Lewis is without doubt a top 5 ATG HW. I suspect his ranking will continue to rise over the years as this is just how things go with the most recent dominant champions, in comparison to those from a long time ago. There is a cut off to these lists based on people having seen those fighters when they were alive. I do agree that Lewis is unnecessarily butt hurt and showing signs of jealousy. I suspect he is bent out of shape at the money AJ is making compared to what he made.
As soon as AJ hurt WEhyte the fight was finished very quickly AJ is a better finisher than Whyte when he gets you in trouble yourarely survive, he follows up wit devastating combos.
Yeah he is heavy handed... just not one punch heavy handed. When Wilder or Dillian lands with their signature shot... you are either unconcious or you have a chin of the gods.
