Spence vs. García undercard. Heavyweight crossroads battle. Last chance saloon for the Mexican-American who deserves the moniker "Puffy Nipple" far more than Errol Spence. :sisi1

Augustin, originally from Haiti but raised in my neck of the woods, is largely an unknown despite having quietly ascended the ranks of the US domestic heavyweight scene. His career low point was laboring to a draw versus Solomon Maye four years ago, but since then he is on a 13-0 (10) run including a dominant rematch victory over Maye. He is a southpaw with a ½" advantage in height and is six years Arreola's junior. He is coming off a fourth round knockout against Humberto Soto (not that one. :sisi1 The Little Fox is still actively being cherry-picked by larger men, but he's due to face Brandon Ríos at light middleweight next...), a Mexican slugger with a 10-0 record with nine kayos. Arreola returned from a 2½ year layoff this past December to stop 41 year old Texan journeyman Maurenzo "T. Diddy" Smith on the Wilder vs. Fury non-televised undercard, after having been retired by Wilder in July 2016.

Augustin on points. Arreola is beyond shot and is just a name to put on the CV these days. Wouldn't be suprised if Joyce faces Arreola next.

The Fat Man's days in the sun will finally and mercifully come to an end. The Haitian UD's him wide or stops him late.

Not a chance. Arreola's in tremendous shape and will KO this undefeated warrior within 2 rounds.

After he stops this Augustin, Arreola will finally get his revenge against his fellow countryman, Stiverne.

IB, brother, I'd love to give you my prediction, but -- dead serious too -- I've become so bad and so wrong on almost all my recent predictions I'm actually starting to believe I'd jinxed whoever I picked. I **** you not, this all started almost exactly a year ago when I picked Alexis Santos to KO Simon Keane. Definitely didnt take that one too well. We both know I'm all in living and dying with DJ and ill always support he or any other local fighters over anyone else -- unless the guy is a complete *******, thwn **** him -- but my fight making prediction ability and the curse that comes with it........ Only thing I can compare it to is Marcus Smart(besides so far this year) with the ball in his hands, wide open teammates, open lane to the whole, but opposing teams perimeter defense is tight. You watch it unfold and even though its Marcus, you think he has to have learned from his poor shot selection over the years. Nah, 40 feet from the net he does a turnaround fade away heave.

Believe me bud, you, @UnleashtheFURY, and I dont want me making a prediction on Augustin and then torpedoIng his career. 100% rooting for him tHough.

Ive heard of this dude for years too but honestly ive never seen him before. Back in mid-December I was actually talking about some local fighters with Norman Stone(pretty soon after Vendetti got KO'd by Soro) and he had some really good things to say about him. The two of you can break down and analyze(and articulate, well, at least you not so much Stoney) this **** much better than me so I'll trust you guys on this one and any scouting reports I could get.

@IntentionalButt........... How long ago did that fight happen, the one you posted the footage of? If this dude is our best chance at HW, I'm about to look at a calendar and pick out a day to go back into detox roughly a month from now. I mean off nights, unreported injuries, any type of outside the ring problems can all lead to a fighter massively underperforming...... But holy **** was that ****ing heinous. For the state of our state's HW scene, I hope he just picked up boxing 6 months--1 year before that. The only positive I could see and take from that was that hes probably in decent shape considering his build and he looks strong AF. Ive seen multiple HW's(unfortunately same can't be said for superheavy) from any sectional championship in the NE GG look FAR better than him. Honestly, he looks like an amateur fighting in the novice class. And look I'm not trying to demean he or anyone else or other novice class amateurs -- at least they bust their ass and try and compete, but seriously he looks novice class AM who also happens to be a very stiff, slow, uncoordinated, poor athlete. I could go on for pages but I need to stop.

But I mean its whatever man, **** it, rooting for Augustin all the way but Arreola smokes him in a round even if hes only .0001% the fighter he was.

That video was from 2017, his second-to-last fight. Not super promising but hopefully enough to pierce the nip.

Areola KO1, ten seconds into the fight. I take all that back about my cursed predictions recently, I mean I don't and still dumb enough to think it's real so I hope and pray my dry run continues and my prediction ****ing German U-boat's Arreola and his comeback. Win/partial win for good old postal either way. Either I finally get one right or I help the local kid pull off the huge upset and don't end up relapsing for a month and checking back into detox.
