But talented fighters from New England. Pretty deep list of talented -- non world beaters but perhaps someday champion beltholder at some point.

Rashidi Ellis -- easily the most talented, gifted, skilled, and athletically gifted of the bunch. Highly decorated amateur, brother of Ronald Ellis.

Mark Deluca -- former Marine, tough, good skill, decent fundamentals but cant punch at all really and not the most athletically gifted.

Khiary Gray-Pitts -- behind "speedy" Rashidi Ellis, easily the most gifted, skilled, and athletically talented. Troubles away from the ring have really stalled out his career early on and has been matched tough by Jimmy Butcherfield, is fighting Spike O'Sullivan next and I actually think Gray-Pitts will pull off the huge upset. All wrong for Spike.

Greg Vendetti -- tough, decently skilled and decent fundamwntals, come forward fighter, porous defense and just got lit by Michel Soto in 2 rounds. But tough kid nonetheless.

Not from New England but I love him as a fighter and really slept on since his losses to Liam Smith.... Liam Williams -- very talented and sharp fighter, highly skilled and tough but missing that intangible "something."

Out of this crew who actually has the best chance to make a splash and possibly win a title?

    3 more of interest

Joey Spencer (19yo) looks like a Brian Castano II (Seldin III). Offensive nugget of a fighter. Haven't seen too much defense tbh. Not very big or athletic but a high risk fighter that won't be in many bad fights.

Seb Fundora (21yo, 6ft6!!!) Seen clips of this kid and the height is real. Crazy awkward lanky guy. Will be interesting to see him fight at a higher level

Leon Lawson III (19yo, 6ft5) Very tall for weight, naturally athletic. I believe he is related to the Dirrells? Didn't his old man try to bang Uzcategui? Interesting prospect though for sure. Doesn't look awkward for his height.

I'm well aware boxing exists and even thrives outside the US. The main reason I started this thread was because I personally know Ellis, DeLuca, Vendetti, and Gray-Pitts, I was just curious what people's thoughts were on them if they had any and cared to share. I know deluca, Vendetti, and Gray-Pitts are far from world beaters and are huge long shots to win a major title, as much as I like them and back them I am aware of their levels and ceiling.

I've been a fan of Liam Williams from the first time I saw him fight. He too is a long shot to win a major title but is still a couple levels above the other three.

Rashidi Ellis though, has all the athleticism, skill, and talent one could ever dream of having and even though its (again) a long shot that he comes remotely close to reaching his true potential, if he actually puts it all together and reaches his potential then he unquestionably has a very good shot at winning a major belt and possibly even having somewhat of a reign. And even if he doesnt improve in the slightest from this point in time, with his unreal speed, reflexes, overall athleticism, and skill I think he's a tough night for anyone in the division except for maybe Hurd.

I wouldn't say he's a long shot , he's still really young, has just teamed up with a better trainer in Ingle. He should never have had losses to Liam Smith as he has more ability than Liam Smith. I reckon he'd beat Tony Harrison.

Totally agree with you on all you posted about Williams. I didn't even know/realize he dropped Lockett and teamed up with Ingle, that's awesome news and bodes really well for his future. Hes as good a trainer as any in the world and I'm sure he can help make Liam the best fighter he can be. That being the case, I agree, its not a long shot at all for him to win a major belt and hes toung enough to possibly have a lengthy title reign. Regardless, with Ingle in his corner he will be challenging/winning for a long time to come. Thanks.
