It's not always about who is the best though is it? Are you really saying that for four years between 1994 and 1998 the best heavyweight in the world was never Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe or Lewis, but in fact Moorer, Foreman and Briggs?

I like the concept of a lineal championship but once someone retires it becomes something of a mess. I mean, if we are truly acknowledging the lineal as the ultimate title, is it really appropriate to have the likes of Crawford Grimsley and Sefer Seferi fighting for it?

 

Hearn said in his latest IFL that he fancies Dillian Whyte to beat Tyson Fury. He also said he would like to see Price in with Fury cause stylistically Price is all wrong for him.

This isn't really hypocritical just downright idiotic and mildly deluded.

 

He's happy for Fury to fight anyone bar Joshua.
And last week Joshua was calling everyone out except Fury.
The darts fans haven't rumbled it yet, though.

 

Everything he said is indeed ridiculous. You can however understand his comment about Whyte since he promotes him and has to back him publicly.

However the Price comment is baffling since he doesn’t promote Price. He doesn’t manage nor promote Price. Just shows that he has a real vendetta against Fury. He can’t stand his popularity and success. Extremely bitter.

 

I find hearn very bitter with people not connected to him. Like in the ifl interview announcing the eubank vs degale fight, **** off its nothing to do with you.

- Hearn saying Joshua will fight on 13th April Wembley 100%
- "The money is in the UK, Josh doesn't want to go to the States"
- Joshua might not fight on the 13th but we will have a fight, we have loads of options!

 

I bet there are millions of clips of him slating the prospect of Joshua boxing in America.

There’s one other whopper looming already mate. When Khan boxed Algieri he slated Algieri and said he was one of the weakest punchers around. Now he’s lining up Coyle v Algieri for the Joshua-Miller undercard. Watch him now big up Algieri as a potential contender for Hooker.
