    At Cruiserweight.

Who wins this high volume, action packed bout?

I pick Evander (1988 version) by competitive decision (116-112)

Jirov is a little overrated in my opinion. He was tough, active and had a good body shot, but I don't think he did anything exceptionally well.

Holyfield was a great cruiser so I see him taking the decision, with a chance for a late round TKO.

I'm a huge fan of Jirov but I think Holyfield's superior chin is the difference maker. I think the real deal stops him late in a great action fight.

On another note, I wish Jirov would have stayed at Cruiserweight. He could of had some amazing fights with Momeck, Bell, Haye and Fragomeni. One of my friends trained with him not to long ago in Arizonaand said he is still in really good shape.

Jirov had a great amauter background and could really box well. His biggest problem is once he got hit, his instinct was to brawl instead of box. He tried to overwhelm Toney with volume but got counterpunched to death. Against Moorer he was up on points but decided to fight flatfooted against a big puncher like Moorer.

Holyfield pummels the robot into a mid rounds tko defeat.

Toney almost blew it against Jirov because he didn't throw enough punches.

Holyfield would be much busier than Toney, while being just as accurate and at least as powerful.

This spells doom for the upright, defensively deficient Jirov.
