Kovalev or Stevenson?

Kovalev... Stevenson's best win is a shot Chad Dawson.

 

Bellew is considered a great win for Uysk at the twilight of his career, but considered a bum when he faces Stevenson but okay.

 

kov, though pimp did amazing with chad, i tihnk the guy wasnt right at the time, it was just right place right time for Adonis.

kov has time to add too, he will dwarf Stevenson soon.

Stevenson best win is Bad Chad Dawson who was pretty good at the time but Pascal beat him, and he has shown to be very chinny since.
decent wins vs fonfara who is also very chinny and basic.

Stevenson didnt beat anyone much good, he ducked Kovalev, he didnt want to fight Alvarez. He didnt fight an A+ fighter. He got KO'd clean by a handy journeyman.

 

Bellew was drained at 175. People thought he was a joke before he beat Makabu. His best weight class is cruiserweight. And he is not a great win for Usyk, but a solid one.

 

Kovalev's win over Alvarez is already better than anything Stevenson did in the last 5 years. Stevenson stepped up twice and got a draw in the first one and almost got killed in the second.

 

He wasn't weight drained that just an excuse for losing. If Alvarez comes up with a lame excuse for why he lost to Kovalev does it not count as well?

 

if we're using excuses it wasn't a UD so it was probably a robbery anyway.

 

No cleverly won a close decision, SD would have been fine, but i think most thought he won...it was fought in liverpool aswell.

it was very close and debatable until Kovalev won the Alvarez rematch which makes Kovalevs resume better.

 

Except is it not an excuse, Bellew never looked good at 175, he lost to Stevenson, Cleverly and should have lost to Chilemba as well. He had his best wins of his career after he moved up.

 

On another topic I find it odd that Stevenson made so much money in his career, and was a close friend with Al haymon, one of Al Haymons associates hadn't left Stevenson's side until he returned to montreal from Quebec city. there have been talks of money laundering going on with Stevenson
