why do you use a second o instead of an a for Conlan

And yeah he's not adjusted to the pros as well as I thought he would, he doesn't look like Callum Smith did when he was coming up ;). Callum Smith from his pro debut and early fights you could just tell he was something special and a definite world champion, remember that long run of first round KO's he did. :)

lol It's surprising you know. From his amateurs days and in the WSB I thought he would have done really well in the pros.
But he's got some improving/work to do. Lacks a bit of power for the top guys. Didn't look good in the Dos Santos fight and I heard he didn't in the Cunningham fight. At the moment he looks like he'll only get to the fringes of the top 10 of his division, doesn't look good enough to beat the world champions at the moment but hopefully I'm wrong or he improves.

I too thought he would be better as a pro than he has turned out to be. He generates more heat than light in there IMO. Lacks power, isn't defensively savvy, gets involved more than he should etc. Sheer fitness and worhrate have disguised a lot of his flaws. Nothing wrong with a high workrate fighter ...warrington and lsc are. But Josh has some slick moves in there ...he's not just a windmilling mullocker in there. Lsc is a competent boxer too. if we are honest warning signs were there in Rio. A half dead nikitin got a share of the last round. ....that got overlooked in all the excitement over the robbery. Nikitin was a half dead tough guy. A fresh tough guy would ...and I fear will....batter conlan, in the later rounds of a tough fight. It won't be a pretty sight.

Anybody think Carl’s loss might tempt LSC into giving him a shot? Carl is still the only ‘l’ on Leo’s slate: he might want to be 2:1 versus Carl??? And he might not want the chance to slip by. Conditions would be very unfavorable for Carl if it happens though...price and location wise...he be underdog for sure...

Not cool to be quoting myself but I'd like some opinions on this please. Carl's win over lsc is for me the biggest win by a British isles boxer in recent years. Who has a better top level win? I can't think of any. Also can anybody clarify...did lsc break his word to Carl? Was there a rubber match clause in the rematch contract? I seem to recall there was at least a "gentleman's agreement" that if Carl travelled to Vegas for the rematch, then if lsc won, he said he would come to Ireland for a third fight???

How’s things men training going perfect for Cummings rematch been getting quality sparring against Vladimir Belusky, Sean Conroy, Emmet Brennan and Robert Burke along with heavy school sparring Gary Cully and Sean turner. My first year as full time professional punching pain free and looking forward to putting in stand out performance.

I know Cummings will be coming in determined and improved but honestly putting myself through hell and I’ll be going into this fight same mindset as last one with complete peace of mind no regrets and ready to put on a real show

Great stuff Luke. Just be careful, a bit like you I think he is better than he has looked in some of his fights. He is a big strong guy at the weight. Just box him, avoid getting involved and you should be fine! :)

Training tip for you Luke! It's important to build up your fitness gradually. Start off doing laps with turner. Then as your fitness improves move on to doing laps OF Turner......:)

Looking forward to seeing you do a number on Cummings, the first fight was entertaining and I've a feeling the second fight will be better again

Looks like Dennis Hogan will be fighting in May in the States and there is still hope for a Gold Coast Title fight for Hogan. German Jack Culcay who handed Hogan his only defeat is now at MW ranked IBF no 2 WBO no 3 and WBC no 7.

How does Tommy MC Carthy do? Now it seems he's gonna get a TV date on Sky! He's like a zombie...he keeps coming back at you just when you think he's finally retired for good! More comebacks than Sinatra! I assume Tommy will lose, right?
