Thank you for posting. A true classic fight between two warriors that gave it there all. It's a shame we never got to see a rematch although I doubt Jirov could have done much differently to win.
Yeah Tommy Brooks had it in his head that Toney could be outworked in this fight which had happened to Toney before. The problem was when Toney was outworked before it was because he was weight drained which wasn't the case at 190. In hindsight, with Toney being one of the best counterpunchers ever and being in top top shape, "beating on him" wasn't going to be enough.
