I`m fed up with MMA fans thinking Conor gave the best fighter of all time trouble, in truth therre are no MMA fighters that would stand a chance against any boxer that can punch harder than Floyd, can you name welters or light midd;es that would have destroyed Conor?

He did give Floyd trouble. Floyd couldn't do a damn thing for the first three or four rounds, before Connor gassed. All the, I was gonna let him wear himself down crap is bull****. If Floyd could have done something early, he would have. We saw how he trashed that Japanese kid. One of the keys to beating Floyd is no mystery. Put pressure on him and let your hands go. Keep him in the defensive posture. Anyway, to the question asked.

Spence, Thurman, Crawford, any number of 154 pounders. Hell 140 pound Prograis would have wrecked him quicker as well.

Floyd always starts slow, he lost the first 3 rounds to another southpaw Zab Judah is far more dramatic style the he lost the first 3 rounds to Conor, Virgil Hunter Andre Ward`s former trainer pointed out before this bout that Conor`s waist was too thin to take body shots and that he would gas because of Floyd`s straight rights to the body, Diaz used the high guard while walking down Conor in their rematch to great effect until Conor started kicking his lead leg away, it wasn`t rocket science to copy the same thing to stop Conor in a boxing match.

But he did give him trouble. If not, why did it take him nearly half and hour to get Conor out of there?

floyd didnt even train for it....he wanted it to go long for the show....he fought in a style that wasnt his in a serious fight...no defence from a modern day defensive great.
it was theatre, and floyd knows all about that.

Floyd had difficulty because unlike His previous opponents, MgGregor had a pretty competitive reach.

Yes Conor is very good at exploiting his reach advantage on most of his oponents and he had a two inch reach advantage on Floyd meaning he couldn`t stand off and counter punch on the oputside he had to get inside and had problems doing that however De La Hoya had a one inch reach advantage over Floyd.

    Old man Pacquiao

Marquez could have waltzed straight back in there on a moment's notice and taken him out in a couple of rounds

Jaime Mungia would take his head clean off at 154/155.

I thought because of the investment and damage it would do to Conor if he got wrecked, too big a star to get bludgeoned and comeback and still command mega money...Like it was written in to the contract..Just my opinion though !

    Damage?

He wasn’t given a chance before the fight started, so a blowout wouldn’t have shocked anyone.

People (see Boxing fans) need to understand that although Boxers reign supreme under their rules, the quality of MMA’ers has VASTLY improved to the point where a Boxer won’t blow them out within a round anymore.

It kills people that an MMA’er went 9 rounds with the so-called “GOAT”. That fight did huge damage to Boxing, imho.

We'll agree to disagree then...I believe it was a 2/3 round fight if it wasn't fixed, so Connor comes out not looking a fool like he would if it was legit...Look at the press conference build ups, it was wwe for kids, not something an adult should take seriously

You serious ???? Plenty of people thought Connor could win, granted they were mostly UFC fans but it wasn't a whitewash !

There are harder punching boxers that would have stopped Conor in a round, his power was made to sound like the one punch power of Hearns or Julian Jackson both of who would have stopped Conor in one round, though I think Hearns would have been more likley to achieve this because he had better offensive skils than Jackson who would have missed a lot because of Conor`s deft slipping ability, the point is hard punching boxers hit harder than hard punching MMA fighters this proved that, Conor`s power in boxing gloves was zero which is why Floyd stated walking through him from the fourth round, from that point I could se the fight was over and Conor was panicking pushing lame punches out just to keep Floyd off he ran out of ideas because his boxing skills are so limited.
