    Goosen shouldn't be covering Molina's fights. He is too biased. Figueroa was landing the harder, cleaner punches throughout the fight. I thought it was a closer fight, though. 6-4 would be more like it. Molina was outworking Figueroa in some of the rounds but the harder punches definitely came from Figueroa. And, let's face it, the younger, up and comer, is almost always going to get the nod. Clenelo v GGG for example.

    Santa Cruz is shelling up, letting Rivera try some jabs and chopping rights up top, everything blocked. Santa Cruz pressing forward, looming over Rivera, imposing his longer frame. Santa Cruz pumping jabs between the gloves while keeping his own pinned to either side of his face, screening out Rivera's attempts to come up on the ball of his lead foot and bash up high with a left hook. Santa Cruz loads up a 1-2 and forces Rivera to slide his feet backward all the way clear of his reach to dodge, leaving him out of position to counter. Body shots by Santa Cruz. A couple of chopping rights and left hooks from Rivera making incidental contact on the sides of Santa Cruz's head, but nothing past his jaw line as he keeps a tight shell.
