    Interesting...

Thats the one thing you wonder about prospects how they can take punches...

He bounced back up BUT Karlos is a 130 pounder & Teo soon to be 140...

These guys got a rivalry going on since the amateurs

Im a huge fan of both Teo is a rising star & Balderas has been rather inactive which is disapointing...

Karlos is up there talent wise with Ryan and Teo and Shakur, just needs to be more active...

Well he didnt get up because he didnt go down, he would of been absolutely smashed to hell on the ropes. KTFO in a real fight. however its just sparring these things happen.

Not only about even but judging solely from that clip, Balderas PUT IT ON Lopez. BADLY. And the fact Lopez is the naturally much bigger and stockier fighter, and supposedly highly skilled, he just got countered and pieced the **** up by Balderas. For Lopez sake I hope that was an off day or something because IMO the much smaller guy just pantsed him.

Because guys never get hurt or KO'd when holding their hands up high.
I agree with the reflexes part tho. Same thing is with just holding a tight high guard(which is popular in Europe). What's the point in just standing tall with your hands up? You are begging to get chin checked.

He didn't actually go down, but he was legit hurt there.
And Balderas has not once made 130.

You got moist of something that happened years ago. Come on bruh! stick to the present. The kid right now is ready to take over. Make no mistakes about it. Where is Balderas now? Nowhere..

It was a joke brother relax dont take it personal. You and @Boxingfan200 are cool in my book, all 3 of us are just passionate and opinionated.

Look, as a fighter, I really do like Lopez and he has monstrous talent, but the way he disrespected Magdaleno really, REALLY turned me off. To disrespect a warrior like that who was totally outgunned but chose to go toe to toe and out on his sheild instead of losing a UD........ I gained way more respect for Magdaleno in that loss than Lopez in that win, Magdaleno went out there and proved he lives and dies by the warriors code/sword.

Ive boxed over 20 years and spent 8 years in the military -- 4 years and three deployments as a rifleman in the Marine Corps and 4 years in the Navy and 1 deployment as an infantry line corpsman. Maybe because of that I have a greater appreciation of guys like that and a different definition of "warrior" than most. I'll be the first to admit I'm the most immature and childish 36 year old I've ever co e across, so for me to take offense to Lopez' actions after the fight and consider them immature is saying a lot. As a fighter he has such a considerable amount of potential its gross, but he has a lot of groing up to do, and I guarantee you never in a million years will he have it in him to do what Magdaleno did against an opponent that has him completely outgunned, especially in firepower, athleticism, explosiveness, skill, and strength. It takes something and someone special to go out like that, like a true warrior. My blood is boiling just thinking about it right now so I gotta stop, I just wanted to joke with you two and let you know it was never anything personal between us. Have a good night brother.

    Very impressive.

I am 35 years old started boxing/ kickboxing a couple of years ago. LOL..I think we should go into details of that incident where you deemed it was disrespectful and it was. Your mate Magdalenos had said something very disrespectful against Hondurans before the fight had materialized. Teo apparently was told by his parent who were really hurt by the comments made by Diego. This is why Teofimo reacted the way he did in the heat of the moment. Things were said that crossed the line. That's the gist of what I know at this stage.

Magdalenos are not innocent as they appear. His brother has said something disrespectful about Ghanian, Dogboe, as i recall. But I wont go into details. It was a personal attack. I understand you don't like his action. But there are lines you don't cross. Specially family, peoples, countries and nationalities.
