Big Baby could have an Iron Chin?

Different fighters are built to take certain shots much better than others and with his thick build and base I think he's definitely got a good chin at least. I think uppercut and looping hooks are shots he'd be more susceptible to getting knocked out by. Remember Sam Peter? Could take powerful straights/crosses from Klitschko all day and keep coming forward and then he fights Jameel McCline and looks like the wolf of wall street scene where he takes the lemon queluude and is partially paralyzed rolling around on the ground.

Whyte, Povetkin, Gassiev, and AJ are probably nightmares for his chin. Strangely I think he walks through Wilder and anything he can plant on him, I mean i dont even thing Wilder landing his best would get Miller's attention.

 

Younger, hungrier, more motivated, and in much better shape versions of Ortiz and StIverne really could have tested his chin and caught him with huge clean counters.

 

He'd better have given how easy he is to hit otherwise he's getting brutally stopped.

 

He probably has a decent chin but even good chins can get cracked if hit enough and Miller gets hit a lot and Joshua hits hard.

Miller has also been carefully kept away from punchers and Wilder KO'ed him in sparring years ago, so he can be KO'ed he's not one of these iron chinned Oliver McCall types.

 

Is that true about Wilder? I'm not doubting your claim, just nwver heard about it before and a bit surprised and very interested to hear about it. Youre a top notch poster, one of my favorites on the site, could you give a rundown of what happened if you dont mind? Generally very interested and surprised to hear this.

On a side note former kickboxers usually have pretty decent chins at worst, probably due to their situational awareness, vision, and anticipation required in that sport since both hands and feet come flying at them.

 

Have a feeling with the weight he carries, he can take a shot. AJ will need to be very patient

 

Washington stun him. I think Miller's chin is world class, but average. Meaning someone like Joshua will clearly hurt him if he lands flush.

 

Wilder already sent Big Baby to the hospital after sparring each other. Wilder claims he gave him a concussion. Big baby said he had to go because of dehydration issues. Make your own mind up.

Whats you're problem? I said I never doubted it I just wanted to know/hear more about it and what took place. I dont need to make my mind up, if the poster I quoted said it happened, then I 100% bwlieve it happened. Hes as good a poster as you will find here, I know he doeant post bull****, if he said it definitively happened then I believe him all the way.

 

Miller will easily walk through someone average, but guys on his level can definitely hurt him. His chin is solid, but hes not someone like Hagler. More like Hearns(can take a solid shot, but great punchers can "easily" take him out).

 

Aparently it is true, it was miller in the mascot costume.

 

You really never know till you see the guy with a big hitter in a fight. Ali, Tyson and others have gone down in sparing and rarely did in big fights. Anyway we'll know in June, though I hope its good, Miller is such a curiosity.
