what does it take to become a famous boxer?

    It's such a gamble to go Pro
    Look at fighters like Kendall Holt highest pay is 40k or so.
    Only 1% of boxing makes good money. The scary part is a huge portion of boxers end up having some health related issue from taking punches to the head. You can't swim without getting wet.
    For instance though I knew a local pro "journeyman" with a .500 record career high pay was 2500$. He even fought on a Showbox undercard.

    No matter how many fights a man wins in Norway or Denmark, It's not worth a hill of beans in the US.

    3 Ortiz should have won by DQ Punk move by Floyd
    4 Judah should have won by DQ when Roger jumped in ring & attacked Judah

    I spent a couple of sessions in a boxing gym and sparred as a 13 year old but I have learned most of my stuff from boxing film studies and re-watching old fights on youtube.

    This is an easy one.

    1. A loud mouth where you fight more guys with less skills with competent management . :cursing:

    2. A style that causes knock outs with continuous round by round punishment while show casing skills . :headbash

    3. Trouble outside the ring ,where you get arrested and or in law trouble in general. :cop1:

    4. Actually having belts and being in important fights which is the best way. :number_one:
