So.. Just watched TheWeasle's breakdown of the fight. Ngannou landed a pretty nasty uppercut, and i deffo looks like Cain went limb - and it wasn't 'just' a bad knee, that ended the fight. The breakdown: This content is protected
And Cain didn't even have any weight on his left knee, when he went down. He was moving when Ngannou landed the uppercut, and his right leg buckled before he even made contact with the ground with his left leg - and then he landed with his left knee bend under his body, which most likely caused the injury. So after watching it again, it really seems like it all was caused by the uppercut by Ngannou that made Cain go down.
Great camera angle. I've got to give Ngannou credit, although the ref still stopped it early. The guy has dynamite in his fists.
How do you even get power into a shot from that position? Wish they had of shown that angle on the telecast.
That's ****ed up because people were trying not to give Ngannou credit. UFC has to make sure they get the best replay angles next time, and these refs have got to stop with the early stoppages. It's a fight. Let the guy take a couple clean shots on the ground before jumping in.
Seriously it was like oh Cain could only lose if Injured. It was too weird felt like they had a bias. Agreed Im gonna try & find a better angle here in a sec
