Does AJ need to run that back with Joseph Parker? Since that's the only blemish on AJ's record, going 12 rounds and not being able to KO, knockdown or even hurt Parker. Can AJ do what Wilder did in his rematch with Stiverne? Also, there was controversy with what seemed to be a biased ref who came to AJs rescue at certain points during the fight. Is there even any demand for this fight?

Parker's got the right idea. Dereck Chisora next & if he wins that, maybe a big fight with Usyk to qualify for another world title shot.

There's no demand right now but that would change with wins in his next two.

The guys who have already had a crack at Joshua need to be prepared to walk that extra mile - as Dillian Whyte & Dominic Breazeale are finding out.

No thanks, the first was bad enough.

Parker was better than Stiverne and he was just spoiling AJ with the jab, Wilder had the easier task and Parker lost to Whyte so I would rather see AJ fight Whyte.

Usyk will beat Parker, he doesn`t have a winners mindset, he reminds me off Frank Bruno in that regard.

Parker will no doubt position himself into a world title shot at some point, but people won’t clammer for it. He did fight Joshua at the “right” time though. Unfortunately for Whyte, he didn’t. The Whyte vs Joshua fight have been massive otherwise.

Hughie Fury is better than Stiverne IMO.

I don't know if there is a "right" time to fight Joshua. If a fight date is set, he will come prepared and more experienced with each outing, thus, making him better with every opponent that he fights. In other words, Parker would have fought a more improved Joshua then the one Whyte fought.

I think they were both very tentative in their clash.

Parker needs to earn his shot. The bodybuilder already outboxed him, and he didn't have to get out of second gear.

Parker isn’t a blemish on AJs record. The only issue was the referee who was cheating Parker, other than that AJ won comfortably. I don’t wanna see a rematch until Parker takes on a proper contender not Chisora. Guys like Ortiz, Usyk, Pulev, Povetkin, beat one of them and he is back in the mix for the rematch.

I agree. If he beats Chisora, it won't be seen as a huge feat for Parker and I mean that with all respect to Chisora. It's just that Chisora is getting old and he lost by KO to Whyte so many (including myself) would be expecting Joe to do the same.

The guys you suggested would get people noticing Joe again if he was to beat any of those guys.

Exactly when Joe was coming up he beat some decent names like Takam and Ruiz. If he is gunna fight Chisora and he wins, he should the winner of Whyte vs Breazeale or just target Whyte if he is not fighting Breazeale just try to get revenge. Then he would have beaten two top 15 names and should get a shot imo.

I’m really talking about exposure and the size of the event, as appose to being prepared for the task at hand.

Parker was a world champion, and as such got paid millions. My point being that Whyte missed a trick fighting Joshua when he did. Can you imagine if Whyte was undefeated, with a high British profile. Him vs Joshua would be huge!

Of course the boxing side of things you are 100% correct.

If Parker goes on a run and beats some top contenders in exciting fashion sure. As is no, that first fight was terrible.
