Do you think Randy could have taken the shots that stopped a heavyweight like Holyfield and if Holy punched Randy he would have knocked him out in seconds.
Hearns fought better against Hagler 3 years before he lost to Barkley who punched harder than MT fighters and Co. But Hearns couldn`t take a middleweight punch, the rematch was at light heavy and Tommy was far slower then, his body lacked the definition it had years earlier.
Yeah, Randy wouldn't be competitive in Boxing. But a boxer isn't really competitive in a fight either. In a fight, no rules - who wins? The boxer or the fighter?
Not very often you hear a street fighter getting the better of a boxer, if ever.. Paulie Malignaggi would have ko power on the street and punch placement to back it up !
Lets just for the sake of the argument allude that we're talking about professionals. A fighter as in a MMA fighter, a boxer as in a boxer. And not some random tough, drunk street guy on steroids and drugs a late night out in town vs a professional boxer. You think the boxer wins a fight majority of the time - a fight not limited to a stand-up contest only allowed to hit with your hands.
No I don't, but that's moving the goal posts badly. We aren't on about a MMA fighter v Boxer, hes on about a tough guy !
