He's been asked to stay on to fry the Hot Wings and cover the girl that's called in sick.

Either that or he has a new Fedora fitting scheduled.

    Just watching this.

A weird reason to have a press conference to have in the first place. No music on Tyson Fury's arrival just made it seem even more awkward than it already was.

Frank Warren's argument for Fury being the number 1 heavyweight in the world are laughably, wafer thin. He should just give up pushing that narrative until he comes better prepared as to why he's number 1.

It honestly sounded like there were only 3 of them in the whole room.

Seconded. While I, like all others would love to see the Wilder rematch and Joshua fight further down the line, but as soon as possible, it is a good career move. It's a business as well as a sport and maximising potential for the shortest risk is in many ways sadly the name of the game. He's fully entitled to this shrewd move. I hope we see top fights still and an active Fury, however, and especially the megafights aforementioned.

Nice to be thought of in my absence.

It's an interesting deal which will largely live or die by how Fury does when he actually fights next. If Fury genuinely can be built into some superstar then so be it; my issue all along is with people who are saying he already has.

So we wait and see. I don't blame him for a second for taking a deal which looks at face value like it could be too good to be true. But let's see what happens next. I don't think any fans of the sport would be thrilled if we were expecting a Fury Wilder rematch and we get Fury v Charr or even Fury v Parker.
