I think this could be an interesting match up. We can see how Davis can handle a master like Rigo. If he can get pass him then a possible match with Loma would be nice.

    Who do you think wins?

Based on the Pedraza performance, Rigo probably wrecks him.

Rigo KO’s him. Too skilled for someone like Davis.

Davis is about 150 lbs. and 22 years old, and would obliterate a little guy like that.

Forget that, I’d rather see Master Al talk to Floyd about letting Gervonta Davis lock horns with crosstown rival Gary Russell Jr. at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, MD. This way Master Al does his job and tries to establish a regional following for the winner.

As a boxing fan, it’s sickening to see how Master Al managed to **** away more than $400M and do nothing to draw more casual fans to the sport or create a legitimate star of any kind, despite serving as “advisor” to damn near every decent fighter. The best he gave us, on paper anyways, were:

    Jacobs vs Quillin
    Thurman vs Porter
    Thurman vs Garcia
    Santa Cruz vs Frampton

    Bump
Still want to see Davis at least fight a good boxer, see how he handles a slick fighter. I think Rigo, even at this age, might pose a problem. Or maybe not, we won't know until Davis actually tests himself.

Rigo is too old and has a weak chin, so Davis would knock him out.

If that's the case then make it happen, see if Davis is good enough to beat an old vet. Rigo would be a good test to see how well he does against defensive counterpunchers.
