I fear for the forum if he does. What could be more relentless than several accounts and 24 hour surveillance?
How unlikely is it that ESPN get this fight? They're investing hugely in Tyson Fury. Why wouldn't they try their best to get the biggest fight available for him? Imagine the numbers Fury/Wilder would do on their platform? Wilder has no contract with showtime and money talks.
If they’re investing massively then there’s no reason why they don’t win the purse bid. If Wilder pulls out it’s a duck then Fury is the champion.
The belt stolen from Fury somehow resulted in Charles Martin fighting for the vacant title and winning - Hector Avilla showed the same level of resistance against Joshua. Winning a belt from Charles Martin is like a 30 year old bully taking sweets from a 5 year old girl. Heavyweight Boxthing really sunk to a new low during the Fury meltdown.
This was before the meltdown started - he was ordered to defend by the IBF in a very short time. Not a fan of Fury myself but the IBF has zero credibility after stealing Fury's belt.
He was caught with Nandrolone after the Hammer fight so he is a confirmed peds cheat before he was champion. He will also have an asterisk next to his name for any non bias boxing fan because of it.
In this video Hatman articulates the point I was trying to make regarding Fury, the belts and Joshua/Wilder situation. Timestamped. This content is protected
We have heard a lot about purse splits recently but if Fury is getting £16 million per fight and the split is 75/25 then the fight would have to generate £21 million just for the fighters before any costs are covered or anyone else gets a cut. It's hard to see anyone decent agreeing to less than 25%.
