My thoughts, exactly. Never happen. Very limited upside for Wilder while taking a HUGE gamble.

Ajagba isn't out of shape and with health issues so hes unlikely to fight Wilder.

High risk low reward. Not exactly Wilder's modus operandi... Even if he wanted to, his gang of managers wouldn't let him near Ajagba with a bargepole.

Lennox Lewis had a policy of killing young lions while they were still cubs, Grant being a good example.

I may be wrong but it seems Lewis has some influence on Wilder and maybe this is what’s in Deontay mind with Efe Ajagba. The way Ajagba is progressing he’s going to be stood in front of Wilder soon anyway so why not take him on now while he’s still learning yet is a credible name and an exciting fight for fans.

As for Ajagba, he and his handlers may well feel they can beat Wilder and take a World Title even this early in his career. By the way let’s not forget Efe had a good amateur career and in that sense probably has a better foundation than Wilder. Ortiz nearly got Wilder out of there, Fury did Wilder all ends up but got robbed maybe Ajagba & Co see the opportunity and want to take it before someone else does!

    A little off topic question:

Since Fury calls Wilder "BIG DOSSER", can you english speaking guys give me an other description or word for "Dosser" please?

Is a Dosser the same as a Tramp? If not what s the difference?

Yes, a tramp for it's proper definition, but can be used to call somebody, a loser, useless etc. Just a general insult really.

Efe would get slaughtered at this point. I don’t think Efe has even had an 8 rounder yet. He needs a few 8 rounders and few 10 rounders before he starts fighting top 10 fighters, since the way he paces himself at the moment would get him killed against Wilder in the later rounds.

He’s only 24, so if his team is patient in another year or two he could develop into a very good fighter that could pose a legitimate threat to all of the top guys.

I follow boxing pretty closely and I literally never heard of this guy before. He might as well fight Nichols or Sconiers again.

lol Ajagba is actually one to keep an eye on just due to the immense power he wields in his fists. It's still early days and he has a lot of proving to do though.

Donkey is never giving Nichols his rematch, he won't even entertain the notion of fighting him now and Nichols is clearly past his prime and out of shape lol

I have heard of Ajagba and he looks like a very decent prospect.

But this doesn’t make sense as an opponent for Wilder.
