I hate Canelo and Oscar, but after 2 GGG fight he goes forward and fights with Jacobs who is not a big name at all but a very dangerous fight. Look at Wilder, Joshua, Fury, Gvozdyk, Thurman, BJS, Gervonta, etc. All these businessmen looking for easy fights and they are avoiding their rivals in their division
Canelo has an amazing chin so if GGG couldnt knock him out, nobody will, that means regardless if he wins 0 rounds or 12 he will get the decision
No, because he is a young, handsome (not for me but I can see on Instagram that he is the No.1 man in Mexico for the Mexican girls) Mexican fighter who is well promoted. And as a cash cow he could fight with bums and make 20-30 millions with easy fights but he goes after the most dangerous fighter in the division. I’m still not a Canelo fan, but boxing is getting bad again. 2 years ago I thought it finally changed and a new era is coming when the “best fights the best”, but no, it’s still all about the money....
I'll give him credit for taking the fights with Trout, Mayweather, Lara, GGGx2 and now Jacobs, but I'll also give him **** for fights like Khan, Smith, Chavez jr., and Fielding. He makes good fights but also makes fights that are complete garbage.
Of course. That's one of the main reasons I'm a fan. I appreciate fighters who want to fight the best. Oscar was the same way, he fought all the top names, and he runs GBP like that. If his fighters want tough opponents he gives it to them. I don't care if fighters have shitty personalities or if they are model citizens. Im a fan of any fighter who fights the fighters the real fans want to see.
Canelo does have an amazing chin, and Golovkin is a power puncher, but I think Golovkin is too slow or predictable for Canelo or Jacobs. I think any fighter can be KO at any given moment against the right opponent. Jacobs totally has the speed to surprise Canelo, but its unlikely he accurate enough for Canelo's defense. Another thing, Jacobs has a below average chin for an elite but GGG couldn't exploit it. GGG hits hard but not the way he's been hyped. People are still predicting he KOs Canelo is they fight again.
Fury fought "the baddest man on the planet", "ATG power puncher" and "I fear for Fury in this fight, hopefully the referee is alert and they have an ambulance ready" as his third tune-up fight and he's looking for easy fights and avoiding his rivals lmfao?
I thought the rumour mill said that GBP preferred Lemeiux to follow the Rocky Fielding nonsense and DAZN said that wouldn't do?
