Fury in 2018 " I couldn't care less about the money"

I don't get where these numbers come from. Fury did like 200k buys on his last big hyped fight for the HW championship of the world, and he gets an 80mil contract?

Promoter must be investing in the hope that he becomes a huge star.

Morales and MAB were doing bigger numbers than Fury but would have never seen that kind of money.

 

Tyson Fury has always chatted ****. No doubt his mental state at the time, upbringing and personal beliefs have also led him to say some questionable things but, I can't knock the guy for putting together a deal like this.

He has managed to secure himself and his families future potentially for several generations and fair play to him. This has all come about due to his re-dedication, surrounding himself finally, with the right people and in the main, his own volition.

The only thing that does worry me is that he loses focus and momentum with him potentially going back to fighting lesser opponents initially whilst already having the reward. For someone with such obvious mental frailties, this could become a huge banana skin. I wish him well
