Got a feeling Lara may edge out a close decision here but can see castano also getting a late tko

    What will Brian Castano do,
    When Lara's in his face,
    He'll dodge any punch
    That Lara threw,
    That's what Brian Castano'll do,

Castano to win because I can't think of a song about Erislandy

Good points in all that I agree with castano style being wrong for Lara. I however feel that castano has the( gas ) the pressure to give Lara problems. He's a short guy 5'7-5'8 and Lara is a rangier guy . In order for castanos pressure to work effectively he's gonna have to work laras body. Another thing is Hurd and Vanes were both the bigger the guys against Lara they were able to push him back and had alot more power against Lara. I don't think castano has the size and power to actually beat Lara . I think Lara is gonna beat castano. Simply because castano power won't be enough . That's just my prediction . Lara by Decision

His size has never been an issue thus far.

Not to say Upshaw is anywhere lose to Lara's level, but he is 6 foot 4. If anything he tends to sit down on his shots more when in with a bigger guy.

Just saw the fight. Castano has great body shots. I just still feel he needs more pop (power ) more than volume punches. Canelo and hurd both good punchers and had a good amount of size on lara .

I actually think he does, he just chooses to go the volume route like Gvozdyk, then when he has them hurt, he sits down on his shots and finishes them off.

    Scene it

Lara is sparring a young Castano clone Joey Spencer...

Spencer appears to be looking a bit black and blue

Castano is in for the same treatment IMO

Spencer is an inexperienced 18 year old KID with a style nothing like Castano's. Nice try, but.... fail.

Never saw Brian Castano until CST's above posts...

I like this guy a lot. Clearly has pop, savages the body, always bouncing on his feet, moves the waist and upper body well, cuts the ring nicely.

This is gonna be a solid, solid fight.
