    • Normally a low output guy anyways, but went into full survival mode

    • Iron-chinned war machine; went into full survival mode, but later stood toe to toe w/ Canelo

    • Certified Mexican Warrior; abandoned his "willing to die in the ring" mantra and went into light survival mode

    • Certified Mexican Warrior; abandoned his plan to "go to war" and "retire" Pacquiao and went into survival mode instead

    • Durable and tough POS, but went into full survival mode after the first left hand; fought big bangers Mikey and Marcos on the front foot and coming forward w/ a high guard

    • War Machine Lucas pressured everyone but Pacquiao; went into survival mode and then gave up from all the speed and angles

    • Went into survival mode from the opening bell; clinched whenever possible (even when Pacquiao wasn't launching an attack)—ripped to shreds by his own father and received dismissive and disgusted glares after the 7th—"You fightin' like you scared, man!"

    80's Mike Tyson obviously.
Some even went in survival mode before entering the ring against him.

But Tyson was a murderous uppercutting heavyweight demon from Hell... Pacquiao is a soft spoken and goofy lilliputian part-time boxer and full-time politician from a third world country...

I've never seen anything like what Pacquiao did to men.

The combination of being a speed demon, mastery of angles, punches in bunches, tireless and hammerfisted power. Guys just folded.

I'd throw Bradley onto that list as well. He never fought anyone off the back foot...but fought Pac like that 3x.

I hesitated to put Bradley in there simply you could tell he was cautious, but it wasn't really a survival or fear thing...

    But maybe...

Plus Tyson was naturally the same weight as the big guys in his prime just shorter, Pac was something else, an extra special fighter that other fighter had to sit out and wait for his advantage to show. Pac is a once in a generation kind of fighter

Pac sits with thee elite of thee elites all time. Zero exaggeration or fan bias, I liked him a lot but he was never a Calzaghe or GGG to me, but better than both !!!...When you want a definition of David v Goliath it should throw Pac's face up first in history !

2003-2008 Pacquiao would stop 99 percent of anybody who ever laced them up from 126-135.

Bradley fought off the backfoot, moved and outdueled Lamont Peterson

I agree with most of this except:
Clottey (Clottey always covers up and counters, the openings just never came for him)
Matthysse( He was already gun shy because of his eye and had one foot out of the ring anyway)
and Floyd (Let's be serious, Floyd fought and did what he wanted in that fight).

Pac's speed, power and angles turned off a lot offensive minded guys.

Mayweather was far more effective against Manny than these other guys and he constantly pumped the jab and stood in front of a hesitant Manny, I feel Floyd would have been more defensive v a prime Tommy Hearns than Pac.
