Which southpaw combined these two elements best? For me it`s Hagler, he had so much to his game, was there any southpaw that could be put above him on this score?

Manny Pac? Lew Tendler? Marvin's probably as good as anyone.

Marvin Hagler, Manny Pacquiao, and Vicente Saldivar. I guess you can add Mark Too Sharp Johnson as far as southpaw boxer / puncher goes.

Can't really say who was the best but Hagler, Manny and probably Lomo when all is said and done with his career. Sweet Pea was hands down the best pure boxer but he was not the puncher that Hagler or Manny were.

Hagler. Saldivar always looks ahead of his time in all the videos you guys post of him.

    Watch his bouts with Winstone.

Also, if Saldivar was ahead of his time then Jofre came in a time machine.

Loma is awesome I just don`t consider him a puncher as much as Hagler was in his weight clas even though he can put more juice in some of his shots he often throws pitty pat shots so`s to increase the speed of his punches and draw fighters out, amazing fighter, says he wants to retire after becoming the undisputed champ though.

I seen this tribute before, and a while ago I posted Saldivar on a thread on a list of the ring magazine`s greatest fighters of the last 50 years, 1996 edition Saldivar came in at No.50 with a record of 38-3 (27), Hagler was the highest rated southpaw in the list at No.20 with a record of 62-3-2 (52) making him a genuine box/puncher.

Michael Moorer was a vicious puncher especially at light heavyweight and was an underrated boxer at heavyweight.

You beat me to it, Moorer was regarded as as fantastic light heavy which often goes unnoticed

He didn`t have much skill as a light heavy though.
