Thread makes such a ridiculous claim that I actually had to watch the video to confirm it. Dwyer the gift that just keeps giving - to think this guy actually works as an attorney! Comedy gold.
No chance. Stiverne is a shot fighter, Joyce is in his prime and a hard puncher. Joyce will win by KO.
I'll be honest, I've never watched or listened to one of his videos before, but I'm doing a 180* turn on that. This dude KNOWS what he's talking about, at least in this video, I mean absolutely perfect breakdown, analysis, and advice. I totally agree with him, I think Stiverne is a bad matchup for Joyce if he has even just a 1/3 a tank of gas left. Also, Joyce -- who straight up said "**** you defense" his entire career, doesn't even have one(defense.) He's 6'6 and comes roaring at every opponent and just mauls them. Stiverne actually has some legit good defensive skill and counter punching ability. He's also 4 inches shorter than Joyce. This is like a dream matchup for Stiverne. Say what you want about him, but nobody can take away the fact that he is a murderous puncher, one of the biggest bangers at HW and has been for quite some time, and now he's got this 6'6 boxer with absolutely no concept of defense other than getting punched repeatedly in the face and body at will by his opponents, coming straight at him...… A 6'6 guy that fights like a little guy and actually takes his height advantage over others and turns it into a major weakness and his inevitable faceplant against Stiverne. With Stiverne's power, the amount of added leverage he is going to get on his counters, which are going to be certified warheads, is going to be like a door wedge. He's gonna catch a wide open Joyce, who is 6'6 yet in the pocket with Stiverne, and Sports Center the **** out of Joyce. Stiverne is going to end this early to mid. And he is gonna win it with a one hitter quitter, and Joyce's unconscious body on the canvas is going to instantly turn into some funny ass meme that will spread like wildfire through the internet.
why wouldn't he fight Joyce for thirty grand? odds are he doesn't make that a year outside boxing. a ko against the wide open Joyce puts him in line for at least a couple higher paying fights.
Wilder made it look easy Also Rd13 Wilder had Stiverne figured out. Stiverne could Bambi leg Jpyce His name is bigger than his record.
I get what you're saying but Bermane has a ranking. Joyce is fighting him for his status. I think Bermane is getting around 200k tomorrow (hope)
TBH, if Wilder just blitzed his opponent right from the opening bell like that, with his immense hand and foot speed and the fact that he's probably the biggest banger in the world, and a sinewy, explosive, 6'7 212 lbs. of C4 madman flying at you hellbent on bouncing you off the canvas and leaving you convulsing on the mat, I think he'd wreck any/every HW in the world. I think they would all be so surprised and shocked at how fast he covers so much ground with savage rage flying right at them that they would freeze like a deer in headlights and get ****ing lit like Baghdad opening night of the Iraq war. I mean I think he would re-define the term "highlight" with the way he would savagely massacre AJ, Fury...… Anyone.
Who Arreola and Stiverne beat out of AJ, Povetkin, Whyte, Fury, Parker, Pulev, Wilder, Miller, Ortiz, Hunter , Brezeale, Chisora, Takam, Hrgovic, Joyce, Kuzmin , Kabayel, Ruiz Jr, Hammer, Kownkacki, Hughie Fury, Rivas, Martin, Dubois and Gorman? That's even before Usyk and Gassiev step up. Some of these fighters i don't even rate highly but I wouldn't back Stiverne and Arreola against any, they were dreadful and still are. Arreola best win was against Molina says it all.
It's important we remember, "Most likely outcome" =/= "Best betting option." If a fighter has 40% chance of winning, but you'll make 100x on him if he does win, then that's a good bet. That said, I have to think Dwyer is paid by gambling sites when he says **** like this.
that isn't the top twenty to begin with. prime chisora was at best even with Arreola and Stiverne. guy has nary a decent win to his name. not gonna waste my time typing more.
You could argue Chisora is in his prime now, recently coming off his career best win against Takam (which a better career win than either Arreola and Stiverne managed) and in the best physical shape of his career despite his age. I woukd certainly take current chisora over prime Arreola amd Stiverne.
well, we would differ greatly then. he got outboxed for the whole fight against a 38 year old. that is his career highlight. getting lucky in a fight against a 38 year old. who was coming off getting stopped.
