Bostic Jr., a Long Island southpaw, appears to be a second rate Tevin Farmer clone. In control but getting hit with some goofy stuff for a would-be slickster.

Martínez awaits the scorecards wearing a damn porcelain kabuki mask?  edit: no, traditional Mexican day of the dead. Still awesome.

They're calling this "champion versus champion...an international affair" - because 'Big Joe' Djeko holds the IBO continental title while 'The Roman Tyson' Federici holds the IBF Mediterranean cruiserweight belt.

Djeko is six inches taller, looks even more stark when they are side by side.

    Round 1

Federici creeps forward, jabbing up at the Belgian giant. Djeko is circling to his right, lowering the drawbridge with his left jab, unfurled like an octopus' tentacle lazily down & outward, not really snapped and consequently not landing. Federici doing a good job of getting inside Djeko's chest, keeping up a high guard, bobbing & weaving in close and working the 1-2, lunging in to make extra certain he lays a hand on his foe despite leaving himself open to counters. Gangly spidery footwork by Djeko, scissoring his yardstick legs across the ring and jabbing past Federici's head.

    10-9 Federici

Guys this would be a CRAZY upset. Molto pazzo.

Djeko has a lucrative home defense lined up against Matty Askin in May, with the assumption that his victory over Federici here in a non-title stay-busy tuneup was a foregone conclusion.

    Round 2

Federici keeps jabbing high and trying to windmill his right hand into the chin of Djeko, who is now actually snapping his own let jab out responsibly from the lead hip with authority, then retracting it fully to push it out again before Federici can even blink. Djeko starting to work the body, slapping the flanks of the little man from Lazio with pendulous hooks. Federici keeps barreling forward and forcing ungainly clinches with Djeko leaning down to wrestle him off. Flurries late by Federici, but not enough to steal it back.

    10-9 Djeko, close

    19-19

Djeko looks sloppy so far and he doesn't seem to like those cuffing shots federici throws inside, I got the italian up 2-0 so far
