I'd agree if this was a couple of years ago, he's looked a shell of himself the last couple of fights

Degale is a talented fighter who has looked very bad in his last few fights. He isnt very old for a career Boxer but he looks Shot as hell. I can only base this fight on both fighters most recent performances and i can only see Eubank getting the better of him. Eubank has a good 12 round engine and DeGale seems to have a 6 round engine.

If DeGale has just been not taking it all the least bit serious the last couple of years and all of a sudden has seriously knuckled down then who knows but my gut feeling is its worse than that. I feel DeGale is done.

Degale is going to have to reverse time if he wants to win this. Eubank is crude and greatly outskilled here but in Degales current state he won't outlast Eubanks engine.

DeGale on Points. Just hope he doesn't perform his usual dangerous trick of falling asleep around rounds 6 - 8. Backfoot, jab, slick moves countering to frustrate CEJ. Roll back the years for one last hurrah.

Couldn't agree more, nothing can change CEJ, anyone with a decent jab, who knows how to tie up and clinch, and has a decent inside game, he loses to. If even the DeGale from the second Truax fight shows up, that'll be enough to beat Jr. Because once again, people are falling for this idea that CEJ is some ultra brave amazing pressure fighter. He's as conservative as they come, nothing like Truax, who is willing to walk through hellfire and brimstone to win, so CEJ will be cautious as usual, and lose at the top level once again.

It's not like Eubank is some sort of Ko machine monster that can't be beat he's lost horribly before. this might be a 9-3 degale fight.

DeGale stops the delusional hype job inside 8 rounds. His granite chin is a myth.

My dumbass is actually thinking Jr beats DeGale.

James has looked a shell of his former self his last couple of fights, hopefully he just had some issues in camps etc or still has enough to out craft Eubank.

CEJ is a master of making people believe he can win these big fights, myself included. Hope I’m wrong

Backing Eubank in this one, but in reality, it's 50/50. DeGale is looking shaky of late, all depends whether Eubank has been humbled by Groves and is willing to learn or is still an arrogant twat. Will be interesting to see how he performs under Nate Vasquez. Make or break fight for both guys.

Groves won the fight but lets be real he had to hold like an octopus and even then he wouldnt have survived a old school 15 round with eubank

I am torn about this fight. I want Degale to win however how much does he have left in in him?

The Degale that beat Dirrell, Bute and considerinf he should of won against Groves and Jack if it wasnt for bad judges - would give CEJR a boxing lesson in his prime.

Considering Degale seems to be on the decline and style wise CEJR is a pressure fighter like Traux but more powerful and certainly much more faster than Traux. Also Degale is his own worse enemy and takes time off allowing the oppoenent to come at him more and more whilst spending too much time on the ropes.

I hope i am wrong but I reckon CEJR will take this tonight.
