Hamed is one of my favourite boxers but he is an awful pundit. A dramatist who embellishes every point he makes and who also doesn’t have particularly told knowledge of the current scene. Doesn’t help that he’s coked up on camera.

My head says Degale but war Young Chris!!!!!

Why didn't Jr fight a couple of lower level slicksters 1st or have step up against a world class pressure fighter.
Young Chris would be IBF champ against Uzcategui or WBC champ against Ant Dirrell,

Jr's feet are too flat footed to dominate a mover, he struggles to close the gap.
Jab and grab seems to be the Kryptonite

No doubt Degale is going to be running like a mad man.
Jr needs to up the aggression, but that doesn't mean throwing spastically wide looping punches from the other side of the ring.

Jr needs to move his head and come forward and unload, a jab on the way in might helpful but that may be asking too much LOL.

One thing is a must, Jr needs to fight in the clinch. Sometimes he just accepts being clinched.
He needs to struggle and make Degale work. Throw punches when he can, even rabbit punches would be worthwhile IMO.

Make Degale pay a price for clinching

 

Me too, i actually put on my big boy betting pants (for me) and put £20 on Joyce round 1 , got it at 4/1.

OK I caved in. They need to fire this MC. Absolutely dreadful.

 

There's not a lot on the line but it will probably be a good fight, I suspect their styles will mesh well.
