Yeah if it's a 5 fight deal worth 80$ mil? He's not gonna jump in with the 'killers' of the division right away.
Fury will only fight the absolute best or absolute dross. There will be no inbetween, and it looks like it will be the latter. Probably a Manual Charr type.
If the Wilder fight doesn't get made, I wouldn't mind seeing this. Do you really think Sky/Dazn would allow themselves to be outbid though? AJ is Hearn's biggest draw, no way he allows himself to get outbid by a rival network, maybe they could reach some kind of deal where it's shown on Espn, Dazn and Sky?
Parker and Pulev are far better boxers than Wilder, who is a is very limited as a boxer with many flaws but has a great knock out power. Whilst Wilders power did provide Fury problems towards the end of the fight. I could see Parkers hand speed and Pulev's jab also providing Fury problems. If Fury takes on one of them or someone of top 10 quality then more credit to him. I just reckon Arum will put him in with a easy touch and build on that before putting him in with of somone of Pulev and Parker qaulity.
Once again we witness the bizarre scenario where boxing "fans" hope Tyson Fury fights a pudding, so they can abuse him. Just like the weirdos who didn't want Fury/Wilder to happen. Imagine being an alleged boxing fan, hoping and praying the big fights don't happen. If Fury is such a boring, unpopular, poor fighter; why on earth are all of you so terrified of him? Playing down everything he does, hoping he doesn't land the big fights. It's insane, moreso pathetic. Ain't a boxer on this planet I don't want to see in a big, competetive fight. Why else the hell do you freaks follow the sport?
I never said I hoped Fury would fight a lesser opponent. I just believe that's the route Arum would take, who already stated he may take another fight before the Wilder rematch. I would love it if Fury was to fight someone the level of the likes of Usyk, Pulev, Povetkin, Whyte and Parker next.
We do not see eye to eye here at all.... That was the best Fury could be.....Dusseldorf Fury.........he spend around a year in the gym plus fought a couple of rust take offs and is a natural fighter/boxer. You do not get up from that shot(s) he took in the 12th without being in the best physical and mental shape. Full stop. In order for Fury to win on the cards in the rematch he has to open up and be more aggressive from the get go ...........he did open up in the second half of the first fight and got put on his azz twice hard..........engaging Wilder from the start will have Fury in great danger of getting dropped several times or down right ko'ed...................the proof is in the pudding, I dont hear Fury screaming for a rematch or doing interview after interview that he got robbed..........Fury takes Wilder very, very serious in a Ring, a lot more serious than his fans.
There's a lot of waffly fluff there, but it goes without saying that a lot of us 'freaks' follow the sport whilst simultaneously believing boxers like Tyson Fury are utterly boring. How you fanboys fail to see this I don't know.
