The Patterson who stopped Johannson vs the Walcott who stopped Charles? Who takes it?

Love them both but I favor Jeresey Joe. I think he was the more complete fighter between the two but it's close.

Interesting matchup. I like Floyd to take a lot of the early rounds with his youth and speed, and Walcott edging back into it later on with his powerful counters. Overall though, Floyd just does eke out a decision based mostly on workrate.

    This comment section is wack

Walcott by mid round KO, too much craftiness, too much ring generalship, too much power

    I like Patterson here.

His speed and combination punching would pose some problems for ever crafty Walcott. Patterson could possibly visit the canvas early but Walcott would also need to be wary of Floyds explosive left hook. Overall I see Patterson landing the heavier punches, with more regularity but both fighters would have their moments for sure. Patterson wins a 9-6 type of decision with most of the rounds closely contested.

Patterson's speed and power v Jersey s craftiness and feinting .I'm going with a pretty even fight for the first 5 or so round s ,until Walcott connects with a whistling left hook that puts Floyd down .
Patterson's legs would be gone but he'd attempt to fight back ,unsuccessful as Walcott would drop him again .As Floyd bravely attempt s to rise ,the ref would wave it over.

I could see it going either way. Depends if he can get Patterson to go into one of his shots. I'd probably favour Walcott, maybe 2 wins out of 3.

Patterson competitive, but loses either by decision or mid-late stop.

Patterson can't pull the trigger again and gets outworked and outpunched.

I don't think Joe ko's Floyd, so I see Patterson taking a UD. Walcott ain't Sonny Liston

He's not but I think that left hook that did Charles in would do Patterson in. Walcott was a sharper puncher than Liston.

Patterson "beat" Ellis (and old Moore), but Walcott is a bigger version of Ellis. Walcott wins 2/3 from Patterson.

Could def see them trading wins but would give the edge to Walcott in an entertaining fight.
