I would agree that Chang beats Canto, but Canto was too good for it not to be competitive.

Well Park took away most if not all of Canto’s tools in their first fight, so I imagine Chang would do the same with his feinting game and fast feet. Chang was also more relentless than Park, and Canto would likely be smaller than Chang as well, so I just reckon Chang would terrorise him for 15.

I remember when The Ring had their first full length articles on him in 83. Following the great Joe Kozuimis fight reports. A decade earlier following the great Gushiken owning and watching both career sets of the two and watching their opponents I believe Yoko beats Chang maybe by stoppage in 15, the champions field. Yoko fought and beat better fighters and was a greater champion. I think Yuh is better than Chang for Kor champs

Yuh is definitely not better than Chang.

Also, neither Gushiken or Yuh have wins over opponents of Zapatas level.

Look at all of Zapata s losses. He was at the end of the road. Gushiken would have KOd him in his prime. And Sonagi would have beat Chang in a classic confrontation.

Wasnt Canto diminished by time he fought Park?

Diminished. Finished. Much the way Zapata was the 2nd fight. Canto fought monsters. Little underweight Chang would not trouble him over 15. Chang was Fleas avatar forever remember. Not an unbiased opinion.

Not quite at his peak but supposedly robbed in the rematch and beat future WBC/lineal champ Bernal after that so he was still world class.

After 1st losing to Bernal. The 3 wins against nobodies and lost last 5 of 6. Nowhere near world class against Park. Get real man. Canto was a great flyweight. Chang never was. Thats like saying since he was a great JRwelter that Pryor could beat the elite WELTERS. Bull****. Wish in 1 hand and crap in the other and you have the same thing.

Chang was very unlucky to not be a 2 weight world champ.

Same. I love Gushiken but he’s mightily overrated, he might not even make my top 10 list of 108lbers. He’s just really cool and looks good on film so the less educated overrate him.

4lbs between light fly and fly, past prime Chang robbed of lineal flyweight champ and beat the man who reigned over the division for years.

This is too easy. You’re so salty I owned you and blocked you. Only knew you’d posted because someone else told me for a laugh.

Chang’s greatness is why I had him a shot my avatar. If you think I would let bias get in the way of analysis you’re even more stupid than your posts make you look.

Go in a thread a little more suited to your area of expertise perhaps.
