I wouldn't doubt it. Damato and jim were desperate and very unseemly. Currupt

Vitali isn't listed because he was bested by an old Lewis. Sure he improved a bit but there are also much better versions of Lewis. The best Foreman ever was bested by Ali, Frazier was monstered by Foreman and wilder in reality was bested by Fury hence Fury being there and not Wilder. Liston snuck in due to the reasons in the OP. Holyfield and Bowe were tight and there are different versions of Holyfield so both snuck in.

That's what i come up with in my own mind anyways. It's a list of greats/notables that were basically for most intents and purposes maybe not bested at their very best. Ironically when i do the light heavies Archie Moore won't be able to be there.

There is something wrong with him.

He attacks with negative emotion at the emotional level of a mal-adjusted 12 yr old.

    Or, he is trolling.

Either way it is somewhat pathetic.

Lewis's win against Vitali is somewhat overrated, though.

It was quite competitive and the cut was the determining factor ending the fight. Of course, it counts but without the cut we really can't be sure how that fight would have ended.

It's true though that it wasn't an absolute prime Lewis.

Cuts are a 100% legit way to win a fight. Half his face was hanging off. It's almost as bad as saying if X didn't land that KO punch who knows who would have won. No sympathy at all. If it was a single cut in a bad spot i'd have a slightly different outlook but it was carnage in there.

Great list. Lewis for Ali and Ali for Holmes would be my next picks for sure.

Yes but when the cuts look like they are caused by the laces then you can see why it's controversial.

I've seen clips where you can see the laces graze down his face. Whether they caused all the cuts I don't know but it did happen.

Anyway lets not turn it into a Lewis vs Klit thread as there's dozens. There's been some top lists thrown out there i must say.
