It has always been tough to find an opponent for Pulev. People do not want to fight him because he is hard to look good against. He is a cagey boxer who comes in and out punishing you with the jab, holding on the inside, has a solid chin..Only Klitchko in an impressive showing exposed Pulev's vulnerability towards the left hook. AJ would beat him, yes. Fury and WIlder would probably beat him, but outside of them there isn't anyone in the division, who could really pose a serious threat to Pulev. Pulev - Kownacki, Pulev - Ortiz, Pulev - Brezeale..those would be really exiting main event fights in which odds would be pretty even. Helenius would have been a better match-up but Helenius would not take the opportunity to become IBF mandatory. What does that tell you?! . Against Dinu, I guess ESPN want to introduce Pulev properly to the American audience, so i expect he wins in an impressive manner. Pulev throws a perfect LEFT hand putting his whole weight behind it and i doubt Dinu would survive even one of those. The punches that Miller put Dinu down with were by no means devastating so Dinu's weak chin has already been exposed. CHeers!
Dinu gassed after 3 rounds vs Miller, like some amateurs that transition to the pro ranks he doesn't seem to have the stamina to hack it in the pro ranks. He might be competitive for a few rounds before his gas tank hits empties but it's more likely Pulev dominates from start to finish.
Pulev stops him in 8. Dinu's tiny push lawnmower sized gas tank only holds enough for a 15 minute trip at most, so he can only run for so long, once its depleted, Kubrat jabs the living dogpiss out of him, and stops him with an overhand right.
Pulev by SD robbery. Apart from Fury, who was protecting a 17 stitch gash on his eye and there for a paycheck, and Klitchscko, who KTFO of him, Pulev hasnt beat/faced a fighter with Dinu's foot and hand speed/ talent his whole career. The fleet footed and fast handed Dinu makes Pulev look very old, and probably beats him, but gets robbed on the cards because Pulev is the promoted fighter.
Yes, this fight is more competitive than many are saying, as long as Dinu isn't too psychologically damaged by the loss to Miller. Pulev is getting old.
Dinu isnt anywhere as near as bad as people are making him out to be either, Millers bodyshots are brutal, Dinu boxed pretty well for as long as he could given the circumstances. Cant see Pulev hurting Dinu at all. He has a very good, but soft jab, Dinu has enough skills/tricks to present him with problems, and with his speed, movement, and height, could seriously trouble Pulev if he can manage to negate Pulevs range finder. Will be an interesting fight.
God, I hate Pulev. He's actually good. Not incredible, but very good. And he wastes year after year. Not a drop of ****ing ambition in that guy.
Actually he is being avoided, because he doesn't bring a lot of money on the table. Besides Joshua, who else had the desire to fight him in the recent years?
I think Bogdan should retire... go back to his wife and kids...his countrymen... and his friends back at the police force. Go live a quiet life securing the country side ...boxing is not for you Bogdan I hope you are reading this.
