Yes because Miller fights exactly like Uysk doesn't he. Miller has beaten nobody of note, his best win is who? Dinu or an old Duhaupas. It's a competitive fight on paper between Joyce and Miller, Miller has the extra weight, Joyce has the work rate and size, both would be eating a ton of shots as both seem to think defence involves being punched in the face a lot, will probably come down to a battle of attrition. I think Joyce edges it, but it's far from an easy win.
Joyce has the height, reach and slightly higher workrate though, and his power is consistent throughout a fight, unlike Miller, who loses his steam after about two rounds. He's also a much more committed jabber, while Miller just tries to walk fighters down. The fight will be a battle of attrition rather than a who lands first type of fight, and I see Joyce having the slight advantage there.
Miller took eight rounds to TKO Washington (a RTD), nine rounds to TKO Wach (doctor's stoppage) and failed entirely to stop Duhaupas. He's not a huge puncher, and needs rounds to grind his opponents down, most times. If he KOs Joyce it'll likely come very early in the fight when he still possesses his huge power, or later if he can somehow shut Joyce's jab down and stop him from throwing fully leveraged shots while busting him up on the inside. Neither scenario seems too likely to me.
Sums up what I think exactly. They’ll pound on each other on even ground for a bit and one of them will eventually start fall apart and back down. Joyce’s superior engine, jab, and consistent power make me think that’ll be Miller.
