‘Gushiken fought and beat better fighters’ is a ludicrous statement which no one knowledgable about the lighter weights would say. Please, anyone reading The Morlocks posts, he has NO CLUE what he’s talking about. He’s as bad as Mendoza just dismiss everything he says, please.

And as for his opinion that Yuh is better, the man himself admitted Chang was better and would’ve beaten him. It’s actually on film, him saying it. He said he would’ve loved to have fought and tested himself against Chang, but that Chang was BETTER than him.

That’s worth more than what The Morlocks thinks.

I won’t be entertaining any more of his posts because they are worth less than nothing.

I mean, I got a native Korean speaker to translate the documentary for me. That’s actual research, yet of course that idiot just says I’m a ‘fanboy’.

Your usual bull****. No actual experience thru the years just youtubin it. You cant even compare Cantos opponents to yr boys from a weak new division at the time. You are the Max Kellerman of classic. A little punk knowitall that is too ****in young to have experienced enough yet but set yrself up as an expert as early as almost 10 yrs ago. You always have tried to get those with real foot on the ground at the fights knowledge ignored while you Max postulate on yr own made up boxing experiences. People are on to you Maxie. Just like Kellerman a loud shallow little punk who wants nothing to do with real conversations about fighters. Little princess Fleaman. Maxie Fleaman. Better grow some tough skin big boy, it's a rough world out there where they will shut you down every time you pull yr prima donna bull****.

It is a good day to fight. It is a good day to die. STRONG HEARTS, BRAVE HEARTS TO THE FRONT. Weak hearts and cowards to the back.

I’m in my 30s, I went to Thailand to talk first hand with fighters, I travel 300 miles to the national newspaper library, I have footage only myself and one or two other people in the whole world own (jealous much) and I get paid to write about the history of boxing. There are also about 5 historians I respect who respect my work, so I’m not fussed about what you think, seeing as you’re a cretin (a shame as you have decent knowledge but are clearly too thick to do anything with it)

    Jealous much?

Why would I be jealous when I was going to the see live the most exciting fights and fighter in the world before you were even born. I talked to great fighters too. I made my living as a writer and retired well off. Jealous of WHAT? I saw live in prime Duran Briscoe Saad Fletcher Hart Escalera Everett Hamsho Braxton ParkerJohnson Pryor and Smokin Joe. Jealous of what Flea? Tell me. Don't disappear again.

I would love to here these stories of meeting the fighters and seeing them live from either of you, if you have the time. The trip to Thailand sounds especially cool. I would've loved to see Duran or Briscoe live.

Been through the Thailand stuff a few times mate. Sure it’ll crop up again on relevant threads.

Wanna’ hear something REALLY weird: I started writing about Yoko Gushiken today. Wonder what that could be for....

It’s all great, I’m genuinely really pleased for you. It’s just a shame you lack the analytical ability to translate that experience into coherent posts. Probably because—given your likely age—you’re senile/bitter/both.

the great RED SMITH said it best. when talking to a friend about one of the old boxing writers having died, the man said, "RED, THERE AREN'T MANY MORE OF US BOXING EXPERTS LEFT.", TO WHICH RED REPLIED, "even less than you think.'' GODD NIGHT FLEA. HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT LIFE IN YR IVORY TOWER.
