Miller is open about this: because he feels he has enough clarity regarding AJs current medical history to feel confident they're both on a level playing field at this time.

Miller says - correctly - he's seen a mysterious dip in AJs power and muscle definition in his last fight or two. It's his conjecture that the stuff AJ was on is no longer being used by him.

Another option that I think is more probable is that he decided it was worth taking the risk for a few multi million.

Whyte was basically asked to keep his trap shut about AJ and PEDs while he was at Matchroom. I think Miller did the same while he was waiting for the fight to get made, secures his millions, then opens his mouth. Kudos to him: he makes his cash and calls out a potential drug cheat.
