I disagree, bud. I think you’re playing fast and loose with your numbers. First, as an Olympic athlete Joshua would have already been at the top of his athleticism, not just Mr Joe Average walking into a gym.
Second, your statement that he is “well above average genetically” is lame. 20% is a HUGE assumption.
Third, even if point 2 is true, in order to gain muscle weight you have to lift heavy weights and take in massive amounts of protein daily. Seriously, his whole regimen would be that of a power lifter, not a prize fighter. As a fighter he has to train for boxing. Traditionally, very few great fighters have been muscular. Look at Ali, Frazier, Holmes etc. Kenny Norton was ripped but not necessarily heavily muscled. George Foreman was muscular for his time but not particularly ripped.
So I’ll give you one guess as to what’s changed from the 70s heavyweights who were reasonably well built to the modern guys like Holyfield, Lewis, Klitschko and Joshua who not only are professional fighters but look like Greek statues with huge muscles and single digit body fat percentages...?

    On Lance Armstrong

"U.S. Anti-Doping Agency on Wednesday released its evidence against Lance Armstrong – a massive dossier of more than 1,000 pages with sworn testimony from 26 people, including 15 cyclists with knowledge of Armstrong's doping activities on the U.S. Postal Service Cycling team"

    On Anthony Joshua

The forum user who goes by the handle "Potato80" has recently raised allegations of doping by current WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO Heavyweight Anthony Joshua. Writing on www.boxingforum24.com, Mr. Potato states:

"Guys, Guys!!! This AJ is a fraud, no way can any human being put on 20lbs of Muscle in one year! Because Miller says so."

"I also heard that AJ had a TUE and because Hearn didn't deny it, so it's definitely true."

"Trust me guys, my name is potato and I know stuff about people and science stuff"

When questioned about hard evidence to back up the claims, Mr Potato declined.

In conflict with Mr Potato's claims, Dr Michael Colgan PH.D., a leading sport nutritionist at the Colgan Institute of Nutritional Sciences explains that in his extensive experience, the most muscle gain he or any of his colleagues have recorded over a year was 18 1/4 lbs although theoretically, 23 pounds in a year is quite possible.

The truth remains to be seen.

You are fast becoming the biggest dumb **** on this forum. You must be like the last person on Earth to have heard of Lance's story. It's sad because you didn't spend 5 minutes to read how USADA came up with their evidence. :duh

And yet I have known people my ENTIRE life that have never lifted, and carry ridiculous amounts of muscle mass.

And no you don't have to lift just heavy weights to build muscle, just progressive overload.

And no you don't have to eat large amounts of protein, you can get by with less than the purported, mythical figures.

And no 20% is not a huge assumption, it is 20%.

If We had to compare all the times high level, gifted athletes stood above average Joe's from a physical perspective, the 20% would be much much much higher. I can jump higher than the average NBA player, guess what... I never played basketball and I never trained to jump high.. how is that possible????? And my BMI is 26.5

    Genetics, thats how.

My previous post on the number crunching is perfectly legit... and conservative... don't like it? Keep denying it.

The TUE keeps their Test levels from bottoming out while they are using new, designer steroids. Testing is a complete joke. I recently saw an interview with a chemist that said he could easily give any athlete a high dose, full blown cycle that would pass a drug test from any of the major testing facilities. He was saying guys pass tests all the time running full blown cycles with steroids the public has never heard of. The chemists are always altering their steroids, creating new compounds and are always ahead of the game. I guess we can agree to disagree.

Think about that for a second. How good are the chemists and talking in public about it, bragging? Right... The biggest doping doctor in the world was the infamous Michelle Ferrari whom is someone you've never heard of and that's the way he wants it. Chemists... that is so BALCO lol.

That has nothing to do with what my post was conveying....

But since you brought it up... Ortiz and Wach done for Doping... have you seen their physiques? **** me... Wach has the weirdest body shape ever... how does he even throw a punch with that measly frame.

Does he look like he ever roided?

Roids don't build muscle. People build muscle, roids get's it done faster. Roids don't make you look like anthony joshua... they make you look like you, but with more muscle.

He was anonymous, voice altered and pix-elated dude. Otherwise I would have stated who he was. Clearly much more anonymous than an Italian cycling coach.

You're not talking about Heredia are you? And btw, Ferrari was not some annon Italian coach. And I think you are still missing the point about the science behind carbon iostope ratio testing.

The message is just not getting through to you, being an olympian doesn't mean you have to look like some ripped greek god. It is entirely dependent on the olympic activity you are engaged in and your genetic make up and your training.

AJ is naturally ripped and naturally muscle bound. That is his genetic make up, people like him exist... this is compounded by the fact that he is a full time, professional athelete that works in harmony with his genetic predisposition to staying lean, by keeping fat at bay.

I am so very sorry you have not witnessed such specimens in your life time, I have, and they do exist.

Mike Tyson did not lift weights by his own accord he did floor exercises... ripped and muscle bound as **** for a 5'10 guy its insane... his BF at 218 pounds 178cm is not normal for a boxer.

It is not just regime, it is the GENETICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't get into alleles and ancestry of african genetics because I'll get banned again.

But Joshua is naturally like that, compounded by his fitness regimen as a full time elite professional boxer. Every boxer looks different... Miller Kownacki, Wach, Parker... do any of them train any less or harder than the other?

If you think steroids give you Joshua's physique you need MENTAL TREATMENT AND RE EDUCATION I AM SERIOUS.

The following will not give you Joshua's physique even if you had them:
    1. All the money in the world
    2. The best fitness trainers
    3. The best facilities
    4. The best nutrition
    5. The best fitness regimen
It is solely down to your genetic make up that defines how every cell in your body develops and at what rate.

No, Michelle Ferrari. The Italian Physician and cycling coach who received a lifetime ban from all professional sports for steroid distribution and trafficking and assisting with steroid use for athletes. He was banned like 5 years ago or so.

Omfg, go back a few steps lmao. You haven't made it very far except the front wiki snippet about Ferrari, lmao. And I was referring to the genius with the voice changer, it's something stupid that Heredia used to do.
