No way is a fight v Miller going to be as exciting as wondering whether Wilder can land the big shot on Fury, Miller doesn`t have that kind of power, though a fight wit AJ would be a hell of an event.
Nothing wrong with that mind you. He did have the guts to step in with Wilder. And this has prolonged his career. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight Pulev or Parker. Just find him very annoying, don't like his boring style.
If they were going to fight top 5 guys (which Im sure they wont) instead.... Id be fine with this. But since this almost surely means we are in for a couple of waste of time money grab fights... it is indeed a bit disappointing.
Only two fighters are capable of beating Fury and that`s AJ and Wilder, I wouldn`t pay to se Parker v Fury at all, if Usyk gets his act going at heavy I feel he could make a splash also.
let's be real here. fury knows that in order to win he has to knock wilder out because he will get robbed again and fury knows that he does not have the knockout power to get wilder out of there quick. so from his perspective he has no real reason to fight wilder again, and everybody with a brain knows that he should be holding the green belt right now and people should not blame him if he never fights wilder again.
Sod the top 5 guys all I care about is the top 3 this is very not fine, I was looking forward to this now we may never know what would have happened next.
Fury did very well in the 1st fight considering his lay off, weight etc. I think he knows this. Didn't he give his purse away ?.... I don't think he knows how he got up from the knock down as most of us don't. He's going to bank a few mil before/if he takes a chance of a KO loss in the re match.
I like Fury and respect his game a lot.....I just don't really care to watch his big ugly ass float around the ring for 12 rounds boxing nice and pretty in a heavyweight title fight. Especially when I've already seen that fight. Miller would be in Wilder's ass from the first bell. Giving up 100lbs+ is no joke. They would go to war. Agree the Wilder vs. Joshua is still the most intriguing Heavyweight that can possibly be made.
Wilder needs to pick up his phone he has been quite since his fight , I think both the Ortiz and Fury fights have left him in want and he struggles at this level and clearly his team know this . They never back up anything they say . AJ tried to get a fight with him twice and still tries but ya know Wilder's pen has run out of ink . Fury showed how rough and amateurish Wilder is in the ring and after clearly getting outclassed and outboxed Wilder has gone into hibernation and his team seem to be in deep prayer . We will see what happens .
Why? Two great heavyweights who just put on an all time great title fight. Two of the top three today in a revitalised heavyweight division. When the heavyweight division is going then so is all of boxing. And you’d be happy if they retired? I was under the impression that you’re a boxing fan.
I got a question? What makes you soo sure fury will get robbed again if let's say he face wilder and easily beat wilder but doesn't get the decision? Do you remember holyfield vs Lewis first fight which everybody thought Lewis won but the decision was announced a draw? Lets compare draws....wilder is no where the heavyweight draw as holyfield and it isn't even close. But Lewis in the rematch got the decision win in America over Holyfield in a great fight. If Lewis who's from England can get a decision win in the rematch over a big draw in holyfield? Then why can't fury get the decision win in the rematch over wilder? Some of you really don't follow boxing .
To each their own. I would be almost as satisfied with Wilder vs Povetkin and Tyson vs Whyte as I would with the rematch. We already have a decent idea on how they matchup with eachother... and while it would be interesting to see what adjustments each guy would make for a rematch and what impact it would have, I wouldn't be disappointed with other landscape changing fights either. But to each their own. I understand the disappointment.
