Canelo thoughts on Spence -Mikey

My understanding is that Canelo is very imvolved in deciding who he fights.

Oscar was very vocal about not wanting the Lara fight but Canelo demanded it.

this is where he has wanted to be his whole career. he already has more money than he can spend, the only thing that can keep him motivated is legacy, which he has said from the beginning. when and how he did it is all food for debate, but hes seen everybody whos anybody around his weight, inside the ring. he has a chance to build an all time great resume, or the appearance of an all time great resume, which is all you need today to be in the conversation.
if he asked me for advise on how to build legacy with the least risk possible, i would advise him to take out a weak smw titlist, preferably eubank, hes the one more likely to make you look spectacular. him being the weakest wont matter in the long run, as it stands now, none of the others will be remembered either.
i would also tell him to keep a good eye on kovalev, hes just about ripe and has a name that matters historically. study him and challenge as soon as you see him lose that reaction time just a little bit, then have at least a 6 month build up.
canelo has about 3 more years of air time left before his wings start to betray him, i think with some strategic moves, he can carve out a big spot in boxing history. what makes it all possible is the huge amount of money he can wield to position things in his favor, it makes it hard to upset the apple cart.

Exactly Canelo said it in a recent interview he wants to build a great legacy and want to be up there with the great Mexican fighters of all time. Imo when he clearly beats Jacbos and ggg in September he will be knocking on the list of the top 8 especially if he beats Andrade and cleans out 160
