The least meaningful division in the sport of boxing, IMO.

Revitalized? Still a crap division.

Boxing on the whole does just fine regardless of wtf is happening at stupid ass hw. That's such a silly, false platitude.

Why should he rematch him straight away? He was already ill prepared for the first fight, 99% saying he was so ill prepared he'd be easily KO'd. His talent got him through but just as his trainer said, he should get back to full fitness and confidence ideally and let Joshua fight Wilder. On top of that Fury actually won the world title and was robbed so it makes sense he tries to get big money to back him so he's not a B-side getting robbed again in America. Fury is smart, and is putting his interests first now that he can.

Bad news for the PPV numbers, I thought they needed to strike while the iron was still hot.

Who knows one of them might lose and it's dead.

One thing is for sure I feel sorry for Wilder and will now be firmly on his side in the rematch.

That was a despicable move by Fury. I actually want Wilder to go for AJ now and freeze Fury out

Gutted the fights off but I can absolutely understand why Fury doesn't want to be robbed again for 50%

Fight will happen in Autumn if Wilder wants it, Fury wanting some bargaining chips. Fair enough after that first fight IMHO

Disappointed we don’t have this fight next regardless of who they end up fighting.

If Fury fights a top guy like Whyte, Parker, Povetkin, Pulev etc I have no problem with this.

If Fury fights somone like Jennings, Charr, Kownacki or Rivas then it's BS move by Fury, Warren and Arum.

Unfortunately once Fury signed with ESPN he was no longer really in control of his own destiny - despite what he says.

Fury don't want that re work. He knows that it was only by the grace of god that he got up after that two piece from Wilder. Well, that and the drugs. Fear is running rampant down his spine.

It was not an ATG fight. It was a decent fight with an unforgettable moment in the 12th.

What makes you think he wouldn't of been robbed again? Yes you use the Lewis/Holyfield rematch as an example but the outrage from that was far, far greater, I mean there was an FBI investigation looking into corruption in boxing, another robbery then would have done far more damage then Fury getting robbed again. They raided King's offices, FBI indicted Bob Lee of the IBF and accused 4 others of taking bribes, the NY state senate wanted a national boxing regulator to monitor the sport, it was in everyone's interest at the time not to rob Lewis, it's a very different situation now.

You can't compare Holyfield to Wilder, I mean who was more protected of the two? Holyfield fought everyone and anyone, he never needed protecting, Wilder in contrasts has spent his whole career being protected by his handlers, fighting weak opposition from the start, picking up an easy title vs a weak champion, defending against weak title challengers and when he finally stepped up did so was forced to fight Ortiz by Showtime as they wouldn't originally air the Stiverne rematch and then they cherry picked a come back Fury.

Bro the rematch for Lewis vs Holyfield was alot close in which some thought holyfield won it but guess what? Lewis got the decision anyway. You're right holyfield will fight anybody but bro still holyfield back then was a big box office draw meaning he was very popular and fan favorite. Regardless of wilder being protected and all that. It doesn't change holyfield promoter was don king bro. You talk about FBI and all that doing Lewis vs holyfield 1st fight? Well where was the FBI and investigators in the holyfield vs Ruiz 1st fight?

Thank god. Couldn't think of anything more boring than another 12 rounds between these 2. We already know neither have the sand to take a beating from Joshua, and I doubt either even has the courage to fight Povetkin, Whyte, Miller or Usyk either. Parker will be a good test for both, but it's not surprising if either try and target the guy coming off 2 loses. Best vs the best indeed lol.
