I reckon he would make good money out of it, as for whats important - Money or belt, I would say the money is more important.

Belts don't feed your family, the money does. And boxers chase the belt not just for legacy but for the money, marketability and the leverage it brings in any financial situation.

Money is what matters at the end of the day, hell if didn't... we would have way more fights happening this past decade.

I only asked that because Fury mentioned many times that he deserves a title shot but not a mention of a payday.

After a bit of digging it seems like Whyte has made around the £3m mark from earnings in fights so hardly chump change, he was offered 5m for the AJ fight, that there is enough to sort you and family out for life if you half a brain. I quite like Whyte tho, speaks his mind and would be nice if he was able to throw a spanner in the works in HW division.

PS just to add to the "thug" debate where you said that Whyte isnt one and hasnt been one. When Whyte decided to go into kickboxing this was the reason he gave.....
'You can get paid and beat people up and not go to prison? well thats that then, it beats going around in gangs getting shot and stabbed"

However like I said its very rare to find someone that likes and wants to beat people up and be a completely nice guy, you need a devil in you.

Good narrative to this one and Parker is a live dog although style wise it probably wont be a great fight for the causal. Although Parker would potentially rack up his third defeat in a row it would still be 3 good pay days for him.

Could also be a decent fight, i dont think Parker would fear getting tagged the way he did against AJ and may be more willing to gamble more to get inside.

I dont see this being high on Fury's agenda though, not a massive payday and I remember him saying he hated fighting Cunningham due to how small and slippery he was, he really struggled to land clean on him at first. Hence why after the knockdown Fury decided to just fight on Cunningham's chest and wear him down.

Parker would be very awkward fight for Fury. He would win on points just but he will find it hard to tag him so makes for a boring fight zzzzzzzzz

Lost a lot of respect for Parker. At the end of the day he's just too soft

He will need a fight that makes him look good. So can't see it being Parker.

I've read umpteen times on this forum that Pulev could be a potential opponent for Fury's next fight, so I'll repeat: He's not fighting Fury next. He's fighting Bogdan Dinu in March.

He's right. It is Hearns fault. He's overpaid Whyte so much he's willing to turn down £5million to fight AJ and avenge his loss

Whyte, Parker, Pulev, Ortiz... must be a top 10 guy.
