Parker needs a big win on his record.

He will only get that by beating one of the very best.

Agreed. This is why I am really hoping he doesn't fight Fury next, it will probably make it ever harder for him to get good winnable fights

He's not a journeyman, but I think it's pretty clear why he keeps getting his number called. Hint: It isn't to prove to the fans that they'll take the best challengers.

    Facts don't = Judgmental
Fury is Stupid, he claims others are not interested in fighting the best, not interested in Boxing Politics!! Yet Signs a 5 fight deal claiming that everyone has to go to him and then pulls out of the rematch... Fury is just a huge Dosser and I will put money on him not meeting his contractual agreement of 5 fights...

Ther aint no 80 mil.....pure myth........ I have some ocean front property in Arizona for you if you believe Arum will let Fury make 80 mil.......which would mean they have to gross close to 200 mil, pure fantasy.

Hint: who made more, Mayweather or when Pac was with Arum ? Plus Pac was 10 times more marketable than Fury.

Kovalevx2, GGGx2, Korobov, Fury all screwed over in America or MexAmerica as 'B-sides', Hearns come out after Fury loss confirming they were right not to fight there and get robbed. And people criticise Fury for not rematching Wilder in exactly the same 'opponent' conditions as the first fight. He would have been an idiot to do that.

Let's be fair, Parker gave AJ a tough night and made him look more limited than anyone else except maybe Klitschko who got stopped.
Joe lost a wafer thin controversial decision against Whyte.
Parker is a top HW and can hang with the big boys. A W or L doesn't tell the whole story at all. I applaud him for his moxie and don't consider his management or career trajectory bad in the least.
He, Whyte, AJ and H Fury are the rew heavies seemingly willing to risk an L and losing close but entertaining fights should be no shame.

    You didn't answer my question.

Whatever happened to the ferocious Kiwi fighting spirit?

Since when do Kiwis run up the white flag before the fight is even fought?

If Parker shows the same aggression towards Fury that Kiwis did many years ago towards Captain Cook, he'll do just fine.

Fury is essentially the Captain Cook of the H/W division.
