He says Jacobs is a big favourite and he is going to put a lot of money on the Jacobs K.O. because Canelo has “8 pound to lose” and that’s the same thing what happened with RJJ when he came back from heavyweight and fought with Tarver at LHW.

I don’t really understand what is he talking about, maybe someone else can explain that.
Because I think making 160 is more challenging for Jacobs than Canelo.

Dwyer is about to lose a bunch of money and then cry about “the worst robbery” in boxing.

Some people pick according to their biases and Dwyer is one of them
Obviously as a gambler he has a bias towards the underdog for better odds payout
But when it comes to Canelo he simply doesn’t like him and will always find a way to argue that he will lose
Mark my words: this is Canelos era and absent a shock KO loss he isn’t taking any Ls anytime soon. I think against the bigger stronger 168 pounders he may have legitimate troubles but he isn’t fighting no Callum Smith or Caleb Plant.
Canelo will beat Jacobs but it won’t be easy
Even if Jacobs edges canelo out in 7 rounds he won’t get the nod and it’s doubtful Jacobs schools canelo 9-3 style as canelo is too skilled and too strong at 160
    This is canelos era

Coming down from where? 180+lbs? Canelo is short but he's a unit...

Jumping to HW & fighting Smith at 168 from MW are light years apart..

Roy Jones was almost 35 when he went down 18 pounds to fight Tarver, whereas Canelo is 28 and he'll go down 8 pounds. Those are 2 very different scenarios.

Jacobs is dangerous, he can move, he can bang, he's rangy. That's everything wrong for Canelo. But if Jacobs wins, it won't be because Canelo moved down in weight, it will be because he's good enough to do it.

Can't see it to be honest. As has been said before, RJJ was 35. He only ever used to walk around about 190ish and used to come to the ring for light heavy fights only a few pounds over the weight limit if at all. He gained muscle mass to fight Ruiz so he could compete with the bigger man (there's some good discussion on it in this thread https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/roy-jones-jr-unofficial-in-ring-weights.526325/). But that meant he had to lose it again. Canelo, I would guess, walks around about 185ish, given that he entered the ring at anything up to 175 for 155lb catchweight bouts. Fighting at 168 just meant he didn't have to dry out those last few pounds. I doubt there will be any lasting effect on him.

Dwyer must be a millionaire by now, posting from his yacht and sipping in Pina colada.

That's dumb, Canelo already fought Chavez at higher weight. Dwyer also thought Stevern beats JJ
